The Airman is a very good book with a lot of excitement. I love all the mechanical things like exploding balloons, flying machines, and early airplanes.
There are just enough plot twists to be good, but it was hard to keep track of all the characters. But I liked the part where Bonvilain (the main bad guy) was defeated.
This is definitely the best Eoin Colfer book. I’m not sure if everyone would like this, but if you like underdog/prison escape books, this is for you. I know some of the technology is way too advanced for the late 1800’s but Eoin Colfer makes it seem that this tech is possible. I didn’t stop reading this book until the last page.
I wish that there is an “Airman 2, 3, and 4” to continue the series. I’m a huge fan of Artemis Fowl books and this is better than those. I recommend this to anyone.
