Matthew J. Mcreynolds
Very resourceful and well appointed book
December 5, 2017 - Published on Amazon.com
Found the book while searching for websites that deal with old warbird museums and displays in Alabama. Although the book is a bit outdated, it had a lot of useful info in it and I used it as a jumping point for my research, as well as various websites and Google Maps. The author is a member of the Canadian Army, and we are FaceBook friends now. The book has historical info on each type of plane listed in the book and what city they are located, although not exact as far as what city static display/public parks. It also has info on those that are civilian owned and the background of the current major air bases within the state of Alabama. There are a few pics scatted about for some of the planes listed, but all are in black and white. I am currently 70% complete in photographing all of the places/planes listed in the book and in cataloging them on my own map system.
