This book is fantastically written. Split into two parts, one part is an incredibly deep, personal and moving auto-biography of the authors journey and how she got to where she is today - a wonderful human being with a huge heart. The second part is all helpful practices and tools for overcoming addiction within your own spiritual framework. I recommend this book as a first step to self-help for recovery, applicable to many types of addiction and would work fantastically in conjunction with the support of a psychotherapist. Love it <3
Great tips to cope with traumaReviewed in the United Kingdom on September 27, 2020
This book was so hard for me to read because I could feel Kellys pain, it was too close to my own story. Kelly has written this beautifully and she is so brave and strong for having the courage to share such personal experiences which will help so many people to rise from trauma. You are amazing Kelly

You will feel the painReviewed in the United States on July 12, 2020
A book basically in two parts. First part is a raw, hard hitting, dramatic story of a life from childhood to adulthood. A life filled with drama, anger, upset, sexual abuse, physical abuse and self-abuse. All written in such detail it makes you feel you were there. The second part is a step by step guide for those who are desiring recovery from their trauma. If you have unhealed wounds, this will be a great read and guide for you.
