HASH(0xa5c54c24) out of 5 stars Nice collection of quotations. May 13 2012

This is a nice little collection of quotations about mothers. A few of the selections felt awkward to me, but many were insightful, and a few offered new perspectives for me. The book's organization wasn't very helpful, and the absence of an index (by author or theme) seems a conspicuous defect (but of course Kindle users can just search for an author's name.)

HASH(0xa5a94360) out of 5 stars What Famous People Think of Their Mothers May 11 2013

"Every mother is a working mother." ~ A modern proverb

"All About Mom" is a touching, sometimes funny, very memorable journey of quotes, letters and passages about mothers. It is interesting to read about what famous people think of their mothers. You will find quotes from Erma Bombeck, Garth Brooks, Louisa May Alcott, Beethoven, Sophia Loren, Maya Angelou and Freud. This book gives insight into the role of mothers. Many of the quotes express love for mothers. There are not really many negative quotes about mothers so I'd say this book is mostly positive.

HASH(0xa5d6cd2c) out of 5 stars Lovely, Probably better in print Jan. 2 2013

This is a lovely book. There are quotes about being a mother. Some of the quotes are by mothers and some of the quotes are from others about their mothers. Some of the quotes are very sweet and sentimental. Some of these are very inspirational for me. I completely enjoyed this book but it is very short and easy to read.
Enjoy.
