Product Description

Fast-paced and easy-to-read, the action starts early, and never ends!

Retired early from the CIA, Randy Fairchild is determined to get on with his life. When his new love interest proves to be elusive, Randy investigates and trouble ensues, dredging up a dangerous and mysterious past.
Randy's former college roommate and now successful private investigator friend offers to help, but he's hiding something!

If you like a fast-paced, action-scifi-adventure, with a bit of humor, then this book is for you.

Easy-to-read, and hard to put down, Alli (Al-ee) propels you into the near future where technology and morality do battle, loyalties are questioned, and corporate profits become a matter of life and death.

HASH(0xa5f5a444) out of 5 stars The voice on the line June 26 2015

Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
Randy Fairchild is trying to get his pension benefits straightened out and to start a new chapter in his life. He was shot and still carries a 9mm slug in his chest. It seems that he has been on hold forever while contacting government services. The voice on the other end of the line is helpful and promises to call him back when pension services are available. Randy likes the sound of her voice and asks her out for coffee, but the phone was disconnected. Randy would like to meet her and asks his friend and former roommate who is a private investigator to help in the romance department. What they discover at government services changes the way we look at the agency that was designed to help us. I hope to read more by Kurt Zimmerman. He has a way about pulling you in and keeping you engaged in the story.

HASH(0xa1db027c) out of 5 stars A chilling, compelling read. April 17 2016

Very well written mystery that includes a murder and some very sinister goings-on at a Call Centre.
It's tense, intriguing and well edited. Some nice snarky humour and strong characters. A very satisfying read. I will be looking for more tales from this author.
Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful surprise. Extremely well written and nicely teasing. The characters grab you and bring you along. When you think you have it figured out, it surprises you completely. To tell you any more would ruin the book for you.
This was a truly good story line. Great read.
