Easy Care
For best results, cook using low to medium heat, and always add water or oil when heating. Vegetable oil or cooking spray promote better cooking and easier cleaning.
Avoid metal utensils, which can scratch or chip the enamel finish. Use heat-resistant silicone, plastic, or wooden utensils only. If necessary, use non-abrasive pads or scrapers to remove food residue.
To clean, hand wash the cookware in warm, soapy water, and then rinse and thoroughly hand dry to avoid rusting. To protect the exterior gloss, avoid citrus-based cleaners.
Note: this cookware is NOT dishwasher-safe.

What I dislike is when you read the discription on the Dutch, it mentions uo to 500F in the ovenI just recieved it and I am reading the product information and it is written oven safe up to 400FWhy is that ?, was disappointed about the misinformation, not honest with the consumers, I'm disappointedHope is works well because will return , I'll probably use it in two month for a receipy I had I mind for my family, that is why i bought it and hopefully for futur recipesI do have to say I love the look , I leave it on my Stove Top because too beautiful to hide , send a pic to my sister she said my oven Dutch look very nice, love love love

I ordered this Amazon cast iron dutch oven as I was very impressed by the dishes that my friends were cooking using an Le Creuset dutch oven. After comparing prices from stores and online I was it in the market for an $400 pot by Le Creuset and this Amazon item spark my interest. After reading reviews and comparing with his closest competition price wise Lodge I decide to go ahead with the Amazon one even if I do have a few cast iron pans from Lodge and I am happy with them but the price was better with Amazon.
As soon as I received I was impressed by the quality and color. Even if other would say that it's a desert in China it is a sturdy pot and very well cast. First dish was a full organic chicken with carrots and potatoes and oh boy it was delicious. So delicious that it became a must have every week. Cooking everything slow and low makes the food taste better but let me tell you from someone who has a slow cooker too dutch oven taste 100 times better. Washing is easy, dish soap, hot water and dry it right away. Keep in mind it is iron so you have to dry it as you would do with an cast iron pan.
So if you would like to enjoy an multitude of dishes with great flavours and if you are like me debating between brands don't waste your money on a Le Creuset or other $500 brands but buy this great pot.
Amazon, as a recomandation please bring the price down to the red ones as I want to buy a smaller one but red! Lol
