Tons of bonus stuff along with audio background on selected movies of the actor(s) writer(s) and others explaining what they did or did not do during those years they made that movie.
But, if you are wanting to buy this, I would just wait until the price drops a bit. I got it on sale here for $99CAD, but I wouldn't spend the regular $175+ on it. The other set that is available, the white coloured one, is cheaper ($75-$99) and is basically the same thing minus the bonus disc, the booklet and the digital downloads, and features slightly different packaging. The bulk of the special features are on the individual discs themselves, not the bonus one. But if those extra things are all must haves for you, than sure get this particular set, but don't spend full regular price on it, wait for it go on sale again.
The extra features are good, except for some person's silly idea of "indexing" - I can't think of another description - certain bits of the movie, like the women, Q's gadgets: click on the heading in the submenu and it bounces you to that spot in the movie and, no, doesn't let you go on from there but bounces you back so you can choose another. Pointless really, in my opinion: it's not like the actual item goes by so quickly in the movie that if you blinked, you missed it. Now, tricky things you might miss, like Alfie Bass's cameo in Moonraker (he was in a number of Brit movies and was at one point the head of the men's counter in Are You Being Served - oh, and in the movie, he is seen walking across the bridge in Venice, hacking as he smokes, sees a coffin float under the bridge and, shaking his head, tosses the stogie into the canal), yeah, cool. But do I really need a special feature to take me to the first time Pussy Galore appears in Goldfinger????
But a great price, good packaging, tons of good extras and good picture and sound. And though I am not a big fan of Moore (I think of him as the "Carry On" version of Bond), getting all the movies this way if you're replacing your DVD collection (even though, like me, you never EVER would buy singly the movies with "INSERT YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE BOND ACTOR HERE", it's a no-brainer, good deal.
