Good quality and quite accurate for a kitchen use type of scale at a very good price.
I received this set of scales only a few days ago, so I cannot say anything about their durability, but I can say something that I have discovered with regard to their accuracy. ( At least with the scales that I received ). I have posted a few pictures of some packaged grocery items, and because I'm not sure about the accuracy of the stated packaged weights, I tried to think of something that I could weigh that I could be be sure about the actual weight of and then it dawned on me! Coins! Coins are minted to very EXACT standards. I used the Canadian two dollar coin which from 2012 to the present, weigh exactly 6.92 grams.I counted out 15 "Toonies" for a total weight of exactly 103.8 grams. My scales read 104 grams and because these scales don't read in tenths of or hundredths of a gram, I'm accepting that the reading of 104 grams is accurate enough for me as I am just using them around the kitchen and not weighing a letter or something to calculate postage.I like the stainless steel weighing surface and especially like the fact that the batteries used are the common AAA type and not the coin type. The scales came with 2 Amazon Basics triple "A" Alakaline batteries which btw, were fully charged at 1.64 volts and just for a change, the instruction booklet does not require a magnifying glass to read! ( Not that you really need to read it as the scale is very simple to use and figure out and it is in 6 languages just in case. )I may post a comment regarding their durability at some time in the future, but for the time being I will just say that I am very happy with these scales and for the price paid, they seem to be pretty accurate. Accurate enough for my needs around the kitchen.Happy weighing! :)
