You betcha. This is exactly what I would want this music to sound like, based on all the above hype. It's music that sounds like the whole band is riding on motorcyles through hell while playing it. It's music that sounds like fire would be shooting all around, even if there would be no reason for the fire. And it's music that would have naked chicks dancing all around, just because they belong there.
This is music that makes me want to see the act live. It's got to be a wild experience. This is not "alternative" music, with it's bored, spoiled singers. It's not rap, where the "artists" swear a lot just to sell records. This is a one of a kind artist who has his own vision, and goes his own way. What that vision is, maybe I'll someday know, but until I figure it out, the ride is going to be a lot of fun.
Rob Zombie always does a great job trying to come up with a newer twist to his songs instead of falling into a rut where melodies are reused and reworked over and over. I also like his tongue in cheek approach. I am SO tired of the ... songs. Instead of sullen teenage "poor me" tantrums, you get FUN. This one highlights all the fun that can come from finding new twists on "Meet the Creeper" and sexy songs like "Living Dead Girl" (don't ask my why it's sexy--it's mainly his grinding beats, not the SUBJECT matter!)
If you like a good heavy metal ride, this one is for you. If you are simply into head banging and screamers a la Pantera, then you won't like it. This is for dancing, partying and having a good old fashioned "Munsters" ball. Besides, having Alice Cooper/Ozzie and others cameo on his albums is also cool!!

I'm a HUGE Rob Zombie fan, but this is a total disappointment. I don't want to rate it as one star, because i don't think any of Rob's stuff deserves that low a score. Read morePublished on Dec 16 2003 by Peter

For you folks who like the slightly techno/sampled edge of Zombies heavy, pounding monster metal, you should give this album a try. Read morePublished on Sept. 25 2002
I love Rob Zombie but this CD is HORRIBLE. It contains remixes of the songs from "Hellbilly Deluxe". I love the original album, but the remixes ruin those songs. Read morePublished on April 24 2002 by David
