This fitness tracker is truly one of the best ones that I have ever come close with. Once you charge it and add the app to allow syncing to your smartphone, I have learned to fall in love with it. I have been using it for more than a month now, and it does its job perfectly well. Lets talk about performance. I charge it once a week, and the battery has never come close to a low percentage. It can tell you the time, measure your heart rate as well as take your number of steps. Whether you are walking, running or playing sports, you just tap and hold on the activity and start playing, once you are done playing, tap and hold that sport/ activity and it will tell you your number of steps. This is my favorite part, additional features. You can receive text messages, call notifications, take pictures and receive an alarm all on the fitness tracker. I have tested almost every aspect of this fitness tracker. I have tried shaking it to see if the wrist wraps would come off, I have tried to bang it on a table to see if it would crack, I have also tried to mark a scratch on it. I have even tried washing my hands with it on. Overall, this fitness tracker has survived the toughest of day-to-day use. without any marks and any signs of damage. If you need to buy a fitness tracker, this is the opportunity that you should not pass up.
I’ve actually really like my fitness tracker but 2 nights ago my wrist started to hurt right under where the sensor on the watch face is. I took it off to discover raised welts that have since turned to this. It wasn’t under the band where I know irritation can be common, but directly under the watch face. It actually hurts quite a bit. It’s pretty disturbing.
I don't know if the product I received is just defective, but this is not a good tracker. For instance, I just wanted a really basic watch that would track my steps and give me a brief sleep analysis since I haven't been sleeping well lately and I am trying to take better care of my health.
I have barely used the watch, and it already counted over 1800 steps. This was basically from my house to work, and I was in a vehicle! I had my iPhone on hand as well, which was only at about 320 steps. As it turns out, this tracker is broken and counts the steps while you're driving from one place to another. Even when I first tried it on, it immediately jumped to 438 steps and then went down to 123. What? That doesn't make any sense to begin with, but typically steps are supposed to increase not the other way around.
Also, the app is really difficult to work with! The heart-rate tracker is inaccurate as well, and the sleep analysis doesn't take into account when you're just laying in bed trying to sleep vs. when you're actually sleeping.
I read some of the answers to a few questions as well, and no it doesn't let you take calls or respond to messages. You also need to have the bluetooth on the entire time, which drains your phone's battery, and kind of beats the point of wanting a simple tracker that can pick up on movement. What's worse is that it can't really accurately tell time if it's not synced to your phone... lol some watch! Even as a watch, it's good for nothing.
In short, this is a piece of junk! A burden that is good for nothing on its own... and all it does is suck on your phone's battery. The battery life isn't so good either. I'd rather save up and take $39 from each paycheck and buy the real thing.
I am returning it. Save your money if you actually want a watch that can track your activity levels cause this ain't it!
It does what it’s says it does. It came relatively quick. The build quality is pretty good. You can kind of see the glue under the screen under a certain light but it’s not noticeable when your using it or just looking at it (maybe it’s just mine). For $40 I can’t complain. The phone and text notifications are handy as well. If your skeptical about buying it I’d stay go for it as I was too until I got it.
Compares very favorably with the fit bit alta for a fraction of the price. Outstanding battery life....2 weeks between charges. Like that there is no separate charger required. Works with my kindle plug and charges fully very quickly. Very comfortable to wear and fits a wide range of wrist sizes. The software is easy to use and works well. Heart rate monitoring accuracy is about the same as the fitbit. Works in water. I wear it for my aquacycle class.
This is great fitness tracker. I love it. It's really waterproof under water. It can connect by Bluetooth for fitness and running. If you're looking for a quality tracker for a great price, I definitely recommend this one.
Admittedly, I was excited about getting this fitness tracker after reading the reviews. But after receiving it and using it, I would recommend that you save your money. The pedometer - which was my main reason for getting the tracker - was extremely inaccurate. For example, it would not count steps or stop counting steps for periods of time, or the reading would increase, then suddenly drop down. The heart rate monitor is also inaccurate, reading my resting heart rate at 60 bpm then 111 bpm 5 minutes later with no change in activity. I'm returning this device. What a waste of time trying to get it to work.
I first was on the fence about buying a "cheap" fitness watch like this while most of the people I know use Fitbits and Polar (often $300+), but I decided to try it anyways and I do not regret! It does pretty much everything that I needed like monitor the heart rate, track the steps, monitor sleep, etc. The battery life is surprisingly long too; in 2 weeks I've only charged it once, and I wear and use it every day.
What I like the most is the activity tracking. Every day I go on a walk and it can track my path with the GPS of my phone and show me stats on how my walk went (calory count, fat burning time, path I took, steps, pace, etc). It makes it a lot easier for me to monitor my activities.
Only cons I found so far is the app can be a bit weird sometimes (stats get lost out of nowhere, activities don,t always save properly (tells me I did 7km in a minute??) and things like that). The app also never closes on the phone unless you force-stop it. The sleep monitoring is not super accurate either.
Other than these few hiccups I have nothing to complain about. I even bought one for my boyfriend a few days after I got mine.
I have been using this for about a month. I literally use this everyday. I always wanted to exercise. But I had never exercised before I purchased this. I set up a goal for walking 8000 steps per day. After work, I always go out and walk around the area of my place. I guess it is helping be to motivated. And one more funtion I like is the alarm. I used to use my cell as an alarm clock. But I hated to be awaken by its sound. Now I wear this watch when I go to sleep. It wakes me up with its vibration. It starts with soft vibration. It is enough to be awaken. And I like the feeling of it. And also like its design too. And the price is also pretty reasonable. If you are looking for a fitness tracker, I would recommend this!
