Now, looking forward to them making them in shorter lengths (loved the old 1 foot usb to lightning connectors as my travel cords of choice).

Solid Cable and Great Customer Service!

I bought this cable to charge my iPhone Xs. It feels very sturdy and charges it to 80% in under 30 minutes when combined with my Anker PowerPort Atom PD 1. When I began to experience issues with the cable disconnecting (after ~6 months), I contacted Anker directly regarding their warranty. Their customer service (Camille particularly) were very responsive and I received a new cable a few days later. I have since recommend the cable and charger to my other friends. Overall, solid cable and I was very happy with the customer service I received!

Update: Anker ended up replacing my cable and the new one works fine. Hopefully it stays that way!

AppleのMFi認証済のUSB Type-C ＆ LightningケーブルはこれまでAppleしか製造していませんでしたが、ここに来てようやくBelkinやAnkerが発表してAnkerが1番乗りで販売したので、Apple製を持っているけどお布施してみました。

パッケージ内容はPowerLine II USB-C ＆ライトニングケーブル 1本と結束バンド、そしてFCC Statement、各国のAnkerの連絡先が書いた紙が1枚入っています。

重さはApple製が25gに対し、Anker製は28g。ケーブルやコネクタもAnker製の方が太くケースによっては入らないかもしれないので測定したところ、USB Type-CとLightningコネクタの両幅ともAnkerの方が2mm前後太くなっていましたのでご注意ください。
・AnkerのUSB Type-Cコネクタ幅11.8-厚6.4 mm、Lightningコネクタ幅10.6-厚5.9 mm
・AppleのUSB Type-Cコネクタ幅10.0-厚5.4 mm、Lightningコネクタ幅9.0-厚5.3 mm

最近はどこのPCメーカーもUSB Type-Cポートに切り替え始めているので、これ一本あればUSBハブ無しで直接iPhoneを接続して同期と充電ができ、さらに個人的にGoodなのがこのケーブルを使えばUSB Type-Cポートを採用したiPad Proの持て余すバッテリーを利用してiPhoneを充電できる＆iPhoneをiPad Proに接続してiPhoneの写真ライブラリを読み込んでiPadで写真や動画を編集することもできるので、iPhoneがUSB Type-Cポートを採用するまでこのケーブルにお世話になると思います。

Have purchased quite a few bits over the last few years from Anker, all at a great price & definitely not suffering in quality as a result. Having upgraded my Laptop & it only having the newer USB C ports I was after a cable for my phone, Apple wanted daft money but the Anker alternative does the exact same job for less cash and, in the event there's an issue the after sales service is outstanding.
