I bought this Apple Pencil in conjunction with an iPad Air as a gift for my daughter. This was on recommendation from a number of digital artists. She immediately exclaimed how easy and intuitive it was to use with her various drawing apps. With the Air in particular, performance is excellent. I like that it attaches magnetically to the iPad and charges automatically while there - an important feature for an owner who is always forgetting to charge their devices. My only dislike is the price, I wish it were in the $90 range. But it's Apple so it goes with the territory. Apple Pencil 2 + iPad Air is an ideal combo for digital art!

Great! Compatible with iPad Air 4th Gen or higher! I originally got the 1st Gen and quickly learned they were not compatible however this one is amazing! The only thing I wish is that it came with an extra tip tucked in the box like the 1st Gen does but it magnatizes to the iPad to charge and charges QUICK. I paid almost $180 taxes in and honestly I’d say it’s worth it! It adjusts to the pressure you put on the screen and how you angle your pencil. Also; warranty on an iPad is still covered if it got ruined using an actual licensed Apple product 🙌🏼 (Honestly why I paid the extra $150 for the actual Apple Pencil instead of just $30 for a knock off one)
