Product Description

Iron Bulls MC #1

Dante is older, dark, dangerous, and the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Iron Bulls MC. Sex with him was supposed to be a way to get even with my ex-boyfriend.

Instead I find myself falling for the raunchy, dirty-talking biker who’ll do anything to protect me.

Karina Rivers was supposed to be a one-time, afternoon distraction. I'm way too old and twisted for someone as innocent as this beautiful girl.

I want her anyway. Want to own every last piece of her.

Unfortunately she has the power to tear my MC apart—and she doesn’t even know it

Asunder features a foul-mouthed biker and the girl who melts his stone-cold heart.

30,000 words - Novella length.

Book #1 of a new serial.

Please be aware that Asunder contains rough language, adult situations some may find objectionable, and ends in a cliffhanger.

If you don't like cliffhangers don't buy until the next installment comes out in august. I hate cliffhangers!!

But this is a good start to a series. It's hot as hell and now I have to wait!!! Can't wait for the rest

Even though I liked this book, I'm a bit mad. This is not a series. It's a book that is being sold in 3 parts so we end up paying over nine dollars for a few hundred pages.

HASH(0xa6545cf0) out of 5 stars I wish I could get that time back... May 4 2015

Well....I am a huge fan of MC stories and I am a fan of erotica so I was excited to read something by a new author. However, this wasn't good. ***Some may consider the next part as containing spoilers*** I do not mind YA stories but a high school student is definitely not something that I want to read about. The dialogue was cheesy- I hate when authors have the h call the H "daddy". Makes me cringe. By the end I didn't even like any of the characters, at all. I also hate that it was a cliffhanger. I do not get why authors don't just say that in the description. I will read a novel that is a cliffhanger but I want to know up front otherwise it just annoys me which sometimes causes me to not continue with the author. That said, I would not continue with this author either way.

A copy of this story was generously provided by Phoenyx Slaughter .. just because!

It was good. It wasn't perfect, but it was good.

I'm not gonna lie, I was not a fan of Karina when I first started this story. But that only lasted like three pages LOL because the game she thought she was going to play, which is a perfectly legitimate game for a person her age, she nixed asap. I am SO glad Phoenyx Slaughter decided to write the plot like she did from page one! Any other way, and I don't think the book would have been as perfect as it was.
Dante is absolute perfection for me. He's a hard man with a tough responsibility within the MC Club but yet he's soft and caring when it comes to Karina. He not only surprised me over and over again throughout the story, but I think he kinda surprised himself as well. And I loved it. It felt real to me. It felt right! A man who's never had anything but fly by night 'b****es' his whole life has just had his heart put in its place by a 'little girl' named Karina. Honestly, I loved every minute of the two of them!
Blaze on the other hand...not so much. That boy is shifty. Was from page one! I don't trust him. His reasons for being in the MC Club are not as clear cut as one would think. His motives behind being there are going to surprise us and turn this whole serial upside down. And I'm ok with it. Because I paid attention while I was reading and I expect it!
Do I know the exact direction that Phoenyx Slaughter is going to take with this story? Not really, but I feel a wait, wait. what?! ... hmmmm coming. I can feel it. And its gonna be phenomenal. #TRUST

As I mentioned earlier, this wasn't perfect, and now I'm gonna tell you why. [The use of 'daddy' by Karina as a nickname for Dante didn't feel right to me after the shower scene. When it happened for the first time, it felt right. Why? Because she's young with an absentee father. It made perfect sense and is plausible. As an accident that is. When they continued to use the 'nickname', it lost some of its reasoning to me. And it also lost some of the power it had from when she said it in the shower. It felt forced. Like it didn't belong in the story. It wasn't natural and flowing like the shower scene. And I think Dante knows that deep down or he wouldn't have asked her not to use it when he took her to the clubhouse to present her as his. (hide spoiler)]

This reader thinks this story is going to skyrocket into greatness and take us on a twisty windy road full of pantie-melting scorching hot sex and tender moments and maybe a little suspense here and there. AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE!

HASH(0xa63ac198) out of 5 stars dirty sexy times Oct. 26 2015

Hot, and I mean ridiculously hot, steamy, dirty sexy times. Dante *sigh* oh Dante... give me a minute...Okay. If only they could all be like Dante. He's unapologetic and just coming into his 'Daddy Dom' persona, but boy does he handle it well. He slides right into the role like it was especially lubed up for him. There is some storyline, and it's enough to have me wanting, no needing the next book, but I'll be honest here. I'm shallow enough (and they're good enough) that I would have one-clicked the next book for the sex scenes alone.

HASH(0xa63ac414) out of 5 stars Good start to this series Aug. 31 2015

At first I was unsure about this book. The age difference didn't bother me. Dante is thirty-four and Karina is eighteen. What did get me a bit is that she's still in high school. I would have liked a litte more dialogue to go along with the hot sex.

Dante is the Sargeant-at-Arms of the Iron Bulls MC. He's never with a girl for more than a week really. no relationships. But one night with Karina isn't enough. The move very fast. What started as a one night stand turned into her moving in with him. All his protective instincts come out for her.

Karina knew who Dante was when they "met". She wanted to use him to get back at Logan. Logan broke her heart two years ago. This is where sh really shows how young she is.

These two surprised me and things are working out. Karina is a natural submissive.

This does end with a cliff hanger. But book two, Disconnect, is out now. It's a quick read.

Can't wait to read what will happen next, especially after that ending.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

HASH(0xa63ac708) out of 5 stars Would not recommend May 3 2015

I am very picky on MC books lately. I thought I would take a chance on this one. I thought wrong. I can see what the initial idea was, but it got lost in the execution. The characters were immature and not developed. The language awful. The plot predictable. If the author continues in the genre I would recommend to forget everything she has read from other MC writers and writes something that hasn't been done to death. Dante has no respect for women, but this one girl worms his way in after an afternoon even after he finds out she is still in high school even though she is 18. The whole club is direspectful and degrading to women. I have read enough to know that club women are different and it does't bother me, but this was waaay over the top. And the only way to claim her as his "ol' lady" is to screw her in front of his "brothers" on the table with their MC emblem on it where they have "church". Then it ends in a cliffhanger, I know I won't be wating for August for the next book. This could've easily been a DNF for me, but I really wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. Spend your money on other good MC books out there. My advice to authors out there that want to do the whole MC genre would be wise to remember - all those that can, shouldn't.
