I disagree with the reviewer who found this book useful for teaching her child herself. I read it, and found only two chapters that were useful for the teacher working with just one student. The rest of the book dealt with organizing and running lessons for many children, screening potential students and their families, and organizing "piano parties" (a more student-friendly form of recital). This homeschooling parent didn't find enough useful information to convince me to buy the book.

Real information and games you can use to teach the child the most important aspects of music training and appreciation. Not only useful for the piano teacher but also for the general music teacher. Concepts of rhythmic awareness, high-low, loud-soft, notation, ear-training, techinque, etc. are being fostered through games and language that any child from 3-8 can understand. Thank you Rhoda Rabin!!!

Great Resource for WunderKeys Teachers!

This book has a lot of great information any piano teacher of very young children would benefit from. I am using many of these activities in my WunderKeys program.

The one I received is not spiral bound and no book cover. A bit disappointed.
