Well made. From the picture it looks like it might be stamped metal, but its actually cast and very sturdy. The colour is consistent. Just be careful with the install--the screws (slot) are painted and can chip easily. Because of the unusual shape of the numbers, lay out their placement on graph paper first and then transfer the location of screw holes to your wall.

HASH(0xa8865e64) out of 5 stars Numbers are OK, throw away the screws. July 27 2013

The numbers are ok, don't scratch the finish. DO NOT use the screws that came with the numbers, they are terrible. Go to the hardware store and get some different screws, the ones that come with the numbers will break off at the collar if you use them.

HASH(0xa886712c) out of 5 stars Numbers are great, screws are terrible. Oct. 10 2014

The numbers are great, very nicely made. However, the screws are not good. I hung 4 numbers, so I had 8 screws to drive; of those, 4 snapped in half as I was screwing them in. They break right where the threads meet the shank. VERY frustrating when you have drilled precise holes for correct spacing and you have to move your number over to avoid the broken-off screws. Also, it's a bit odd that they are using square-headed screws when virtually all screws these days have gone to Phillips... very easy to slip out of square headed screws and damage your nice new numbers. I had to go to the hardware store, buy full-threaded shank screws (the half threaded shank is a bad idea in this case, very possibly why they broke off), and then figure out a way to color the heads properly to match my numbers.

HASH(0xa88671e0) out of 5 stars They do the job Nov. 28 2010

Purchased numbers: 5, 1, 3

Pro's:
- Nice bold color which contrasts well with the house
- Numbers are larger in size than most
- Modern
- Sturdy construction

Con's:
- Alignment: it is difficult depending on what numbers you need, to make them line up and look straight eg. the bottom of the 3 doesn't line up with the top (an issue for someone who likes everything perfectly straight and in line)

Summary:
I would still buy again. For the price (house numbers can get really expensive for modern looking, bold house numbers!), they do the job and look ok.

HASH(0xa8867510) out of 5 stars Looks great! Nov. 2 2013

All the numbers we ordered looked great. Just the right size...4 inch would have been too small. The style fits our craftsman-style home, too. Much better option than the numbers you can buy in a local box store.

Very happy with our purchase. They fit very well with our color scheme and style of house (70's tri-level). Easy to put up. Great price and well made. Would highly recommend!
