There were reports that the gas chamber, which is presently open for public viewing inside the Auschwitz main camp, was just an imitation because it is supposedly not in its original state. A French weekly magazine has once stated that the gas chamber was a fraudulent reconstruction of the original.

One of the most controversial issues concerning the Auschwitz death camps were those of the inexplicable ways of Jewish persecution. Some reported the Jews were killed using electrocution and burning, while others believe that it was a new invention by the Nazis that can vaporize at least 20,000 Jews in an instant without leaving any trace. These reports were not supported by experts and researchers, claiming these were just tales of fancy and are not factual in any sense.

If you do not have sufficient resources about the Auschwitz camps, then this E-book is right for you. In here, everything you need to know about the Auschwitz death camps and the holocaust is provided. You don’t need to look elsewhere.

It’s time for you to become knowledgeable on the real story of the Holocaust. You will know what happened and what it was like to live inside the concentration camps. You’ll get the answers on how the Jews were killed and why they were killed in the first place.

HASH(0xa73e824c) out of 5 stars Editor Needed May 5 2014

The author mixes past, present, future tense throughout the book, when the entire book should be in past tense. He occasionally uses the wrong word.

It is a short, 32 page book, and good for a quick read.

A worthy subject, but mediocre presentation. And it arrogantly asserts that this little book is the only reference that anyone will ever need on this subject. I think not. It is hardly exhaustive. The writing is awkward and often confuses past and present tenses. Overall, if the facts are correct,, it's a short and worthwhile read. And I give the author points for the effort. If you know nothing of Auschwitz this little book will at least give an overview of what happened there in this horrible chapter in history.
HASH(0xa78868a0) out of 5 stars Nothing new here Nov. 2 2014

I was real excited to read this book. However, it was a total let down. I expected a new insight into Auschwitz, as promised by the title "The Real Story". It was like a fifth grade introduction into the Holocaust. A thumbnail sketch of the events and certainly nothing new. You could gain more information by going to a Wikipedia page. Always a bummer to critic someone else's efforts. But, there are so many better ways to learn more about Auschwitz.
HASH(0xa73ea750) out of 5 stars A Quick Overview May 8 2014

This is a quick overview of the extermination camps at Auschwitz, Poland during World War II. I found it to be pretty accurate, but there were a few errors that don't really distract from the story. The prose is OK. However, the author tends to repeat words and phrases which made the prose a little stilted and amateurish. It reads more like a school paper than a book. With that said, if you don't know much about the camp, this book is a good start.

I am very particular about what I want to know and research about certain events. This book was okay, and I only mean okay because it seems to give an overview of facts, without more information and somewhat without feeling. If you are just looking for a short book on the generalities of Auschwitz, then this will be fine for you.
