Next, I would talk about my wife. She was absolutely beside herself when the email from amazon made it into our mailbox saying, CONFIRMATION ON BUG A SALT 2.0 The shipment is on its way!
We had a lengthy , heated discussion on why I would spend this much money on such a stupid thing.
I will not say any more other than I love it when I'm right, and also, I'm sure she uses it more than i do 👍👍
Now onto the important things, the fly's.
You have to stay within the 3' range for sure, to close, she won't kill. Too far, she won't kill. 3 feet is optimal for most kills.
Smaller flies , no problem , while the Big Birthas lurking around your lights and such, first blow knocks them unconscious for a couple seconds, second blow, might give them their last breath in this life, third will for sure. Keep in mind these things have thicker skin than a bear so no kidding the salt won't penetrate first pass.
By the way, I have never been so excited to have flies in the house. I like to get cammo'd up just like I was hunting deer or gopher, get on my stomach like I was in the trenches and crawl around the house like a crazy person hunting these bastards.
I used to be a man who came home from work, have a cold drink and watch tv. This bug a salt has changed my life forever, now I come home , go ABSOLUTELY BALISTIC on these bastards, crack open a cold one, and watch tv.
At the end of the day, every household needs one of these. Well worth the money, and turns a dismal task into the best thing you can do in 15 mins. Anyone who has less than 5 stars on this gun, doesn't know how to use it, or finds pleasure in using the fly swatter, and getting fly intestines all over their stipple ceilings.
If you hate humming hornets, filthy flies, murderous mosquitoes and wicked wasps, and seek only to rain death upon them, then look no further. You have found your weapon of war.
Be prepared for your back porch to echo endless cackling laughter, whoops of triumph and war movie quotes.
Pro Tip: When eating outdoors, you can salt your steak and fries and kill flies with a single pull of the trigger.
It would be nice if it was semi automatic & battery operated instead of pumping for every shot, but I live in the country and have animals so I have plenty of flies around, these improvements aren't needed if you're only killing the odd fly.
Honestly if you're thinking of getting this, get it, you will be pleasantly surprised with the punch it packs. It is effective for roughly 4 feet, aim is excellent, and it is better than a fly swatter as the flies don't see you winding up to kill them.
Bought this as a "joke" gift and actually use it much more than originally thought.
It will indeed end a housefly at up to about 3-3.5 feet. Any further than that and the effectiveness drops considerably obviously.
Pleasantly surprised at how little of a mess it make even though this obviously is firing salt!
