Very informative to an outsider; but one trip to the museum at the end of the Philippi covered bridge is more informative for a native or visitor. If you've moved away, it's a nice reminder of the area.

Enjoyable book. I enjoy books like this about our beautiful country. Would like to find more books about West Virginia in particular. It is a beautiful part of our country.
