This is a handy battery organizer that leaves a bit to be desired at the price. The shell is composed of a low grade plastic which makes it feel a bit “cheap”. However, at the end of the day it does the job. The battery tester seems adequate but it won’t replace a Fluke meter by any means.

Pros:
☺ Hold plenty of batteries
☺ Convenient battery tester

Cons:
☹ Flimsy plastic

Overall: This is a decent battery storage case with a handy battery tester. Just don't drop it or it may shatter. Recommended.

Poor Quality and Implimentation

poor quality and design. Came cracked at the top corner. The hindge is really really weak - ie very likly to break, and there is nothing to keep the lid on (in case you were looking for something like that). I've taken some pictures. great idea, but falls a bit short on the implimentation and quality (even at this price range). It does the trick, but quality is quite poor. It would never survive a drop, loaded or even unloaded. Just very thin brittle plastic, which is likly the reason it arrived already cracked.

Rows with uneven number of slots!!! Whoever designed this had no idea about rechargeables! They are typically being sold, stored, charged and used in pairs or fours or eights!

Analogue battery tester is a joke! It's showing just voltage, not voltage under load.

Plastic cover is crap. Amazon's choice, huh? Thanks Amazon, take it back.

Flimsy, cheap, innacurate junk.

A battery tester is not a complicated device and it only has one thing to do. That is why I am so dissapointed in this device. First of all, it's flimsy and poorly made. There is no spring mechanism or slot or anthing to help secure the battery while adjusting the pins so you just have to held it together with your fingers. The 9V slot is even wors, it only reads if you wiggle it around to get good contact. I tested about a dozen used batteries and a dozen brand new batteries. Then I tested the same batteries with my 25+ year old tester. The new tester only registers half of the power of a brand new battery (see photos). It's insane how many 5 star reviews this product has, maybe I got a defective unit but the design and build quality is still terrible. I will be returning this and getting something with better design and fixed size slots for different battery types.

The design attracted me, the clear acrylic cover was the clincher. Not just because it looked great, but from my limited research, batteries can catch on fire, and if they do spark, this will help either stop or slow down the process. But...the chances of that is slim I'd agree. The real value is that it organizes the slew of batteries I've had sitting in a shoe box for ages, taking forever to find one in the jumbled mess. Here it looks great screwed to the wall of my workshop, they won't get dusty due to the protective covering and they're organized so that when I need one, I can see it clearly and just pick it out. The tester is a bonus, I've bought the exact same one before and it costs around $10. So that is clearly a bonus. I keep a tester in the garage, in the kitchen and in the workshop.

Glad I got it, really takes the stress out of finding that darn battery....when you need it. Thanks Amazon and whoever designed it! Great item and very fair price given that you get the added tester (and a great tester at that!). * just to note: I had previously bought the cheaper one without the cover and mounted it in the garage long ago, and the batteries will get dusty from being in the open for so long.

Didn't know what I was missing

Honestly who would have thought anyone would need something like this, but here we are. Was randomly browsing one day and saw this battery organizer and thought how neat it was. It does not disappoint. There is ample space for all sizes of batteries and it really is something I didn't know I was missing, but now that I have it, it makes life simpler. I know where all my batteries are and they are organized and not taking up an entire drawer. It also has an option for you to wall mount it. We just put it in our closet so its easy to take it to wherever we need it at the moment.

First, this thing really does help organize your batteries. You can see at a glance what have and what you need. It's handy. I hung mine on a wall with no problems.
But...
The lid has a nasty habit of popping out its hinge and a couple of times I was treated to a sudden cascade of batteries. Getting the tester in and out is no easy task either. Speaking of, the tester works very well but I would have liked more instructions. All in all, I don't regret buying this item. It has proven very useful, and it's such a relief not to have to hunt through drawers when you want a battery. That said, I'm not sure hanging this on a wall was a good idea. It might have been easier to use left flat, on a shelf. As always, YMMV.

Batteries are not fully enclosed

I’m disappointed that the bottom of the organizer is open under each battery slot. I was hoping the unit would protect from moisture and humidity so I now have to store the organizer in a plastic bag to achieve this. Also I noticed right away that some of the outer slots for AA batteries were extremely tight fitting and unless you force them to the bottom of the slot they will sit too high for the lid to close. The way the lid is attached makes it very easy to become unhinged. It can be Wall-mounted but I wouldn’t recommend it.
I’d have paid more for better quality, but there’s not a lot out there to choose from. The bottom line is that it wasn’t expensive and I will use it.

The media could not be loaded.

We have tons of batteries everywhere around the house and that makes it very easy to forget which ones are charged and which ones are dead, not to mention the clutter it produces. We decided to mount this in our media closet and bring some order to this particular chaos. We gave it four stars for these reasons:

Pro’s

Very Organized
Can be mounted vertical on a wall or placed horizontal in a drawer
Includes Battery Tester
Holds AA, AAA, 9 Volt, C, D and Flat Battries

Con’s

When mounted on a wall flat batteries can fall wall multiple flat batteries can fall out when trying to get one
Some of the slots are so tight it can be difficult to remove the batteries

Overall we are very pleased with the purchase and only deducted one star for the two issues listed above.

Por el precio esta muy bien el producto, puede contener muchas baterías y ayuda a organizarlas fácilmente.

Pero los materiales no son de muy buena calidad, la tapa no tiene ningún tipo de seguro o algo que ayude a mantenerla cerrada, por lo que si lo quieres colgar se abre, y se llega a zafar fácilmente.

El probador de baterías es un poco corriente pero bueno funciona para tener idea de la carga de las baterías. Sería bueno tuvieran este mismo diseño con un probador digital.

Beware - can’t use AA slots as overflow AAA storage

22 spaces for AAA and 44 spaces for AA, unfortunalty u can’t use the excess of AA slots as AAA storage as they just fall right out the bottom.
There is no clip on the main lid to keep it all secure in event that it gets knocked over or dropped.
Battery checker works well.
