This series just keeps getting better and better. I really enjoyed reading this story. The author sure does know how to bring your imagination to life. I couldn’t stop reading once I started this book. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
Make sure you have a box of tissues handy because parts of this book will leave you with tears rolling down your face. Ms Snark is a fantastic storyteller. Her characters are so real you feel like you can look over and see them sitting next to you and just start talking to them like you've known them all your life. And I would luv to have a talk with Victory and steal just one kiss from Daniel. Boy is he hot or what? I am on to the next book now but you luv werewolves or Norse mythology or both then go to your favorite ebook store right now and buy this series and start reading some of the best books you'll ever read. But read them in order or you find yourself missing out on some of the little things that will make you say "when did that happen"? Highly recommended.

I'll admit, I almost gave on on this one after the first few chapters. The jumping around an vague references kept me from connecting with characters. Since I'd read prior books Valkyrie's Vengeance, and Hunger Moon, and enjoyed them, I stuck this one out and at some point, the story line snapped together for me and I was caught up in the plot. The rating is due to the difficult start, but the book had a strong ending with a few twists and turns that kept me smiling.

I didn't think it was possible, but I loved this more then the first book! I LOVE Jake Barrett's character, and now Sawyer is more understandable and tragic. Victoria has grown some, she's not overly hot headed, she feels real and I admire her drive to protect her pack.
I was worried when vampires were thrown in there, but they are not the Vampire Diaries type, so it totally works.
This is one of my favorite series, and now September can't come fast enough!
This is not the typical run-of-the-mill werewolf story. Instead, this is the second installment of a series of well-thought-out twists on the genre. The series features a strong female alpha lead who navigates herself and her pack through natural and supernatural challenges while recovering from seemingly overwhelming losses. I love the characters in this series - they are multi-dimensional and they grow over the course of the series - they are a pleasure to read! There are, of course, supernatural elements, but also elements of Norse mythology and strong story lines. I recommend not only this book, but this series!
So many twists and turns. The old Norse legends live on in this gripping story. The characters feel so real, captivating you from the start. Difficult to put down once involved in the story.
