This book is very important, but very very few will be able to see the magnitude of the prophesies written in it, concerning the Battle, and the advent of a very important avatar that ought to come from the Gardens of Light.
Very probably that avatar is already here on Earth, but he may be very lost and he may be too scared of any human contact with spiritual groups. He may not even remember that HE is an avatar. Maybe he is in the jungles of Africa or Asia or in the killing fields of South America. Maybe he is cared to death. Or maybe he is not here yet, not born yet. (Even if he were here, who could understand the language of Light of an avatar, if no one speaks the same language as He does? He would be unable to speak to a race unprepared to hear simple truths.)
I hope that HE, (if "He or She" is inside the body of a man or a woman), will remember who HE or SHE is. I think that if HE or SHE ever gets in touch with this book written by the soul of Lievegoed, it could be useful.
Or, perhaps the very existance of "avatars" is just a very absurd idea, not worth considering at all.
Perhaps, there is no single human being worth trusting in.
If the AVATAR is born, I supposse he or she must be so scared of the brutality of the humans, that it is just impossible to find someone to talk to or trust. He or She must be hiding underground like a scared fox in his den.
If Lievegoed has any truth, this book is a must for all those humans who somehow believe in that thing call GOD. Only true seekers will find the book worth reading and studying.
I do not believe in the purity of any seeker (not even in mine), but the book was fun to read.

HASH(0x9f83039c) out of 5 stars Seeds and thoughts June 13 2000
By Björn Ebel - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Lievegoed final work is so well crafted that you read it as you would a good novel. His insight into the spiritual comes from a lifetime of exaustive work in Anthroposophy coupled with a wit and levity seldom seen in other Anthroposophical authors. Each day he covers a topic too big to fit into one book, but he finds the a way to condense such huge ideas into an incredibly concise book that lays seeds for future work. You can almost see his expression of impish joy as he gently nudges the reader into viewing the spiritual worlds that he has worked his whole life to open. He at one point comments, it is time to sow not to reap. If so, he leaves the reader in a fertile field as well as a well stocked grainery for future farmers.

HASH(0x9f82f2b8) out of 5 stars Very Interesting Book June 16 2015

Helps the reader to understand the battle between the forces of light and the forces of darkness, Lucifer and Ahriman. States there are three spiritual streams and that we each need to understand which stream we belong to: Anthroposophy (a path of insight which leads the spiritual in the human being to the spiritual, Christ Jesus, in the cosmos); the Rosicrucian stream, which belongs to the people who serve others and who need to make the Earth into a temple; and Manichaeism (the spiritual teachings of Manu or Mani, who taught that a shadow is created even when we do something good, so we must develop gentleness toward evil, experiencing no aggravation, no violence, because gentleness and love are the forces that save the soul.) Full of spiritual insight.

Bernard Lievegoed already foresaw the battlefield on which in the near future the great spiritual battle will be fought between the powers of materialsm and esoteric Christianity. Yet, it is a message of hope.

This is a great book. Too bad it is out of print. Thank goodness it is still available used. If you have one, treasure it.

HASH(0x9f8d6348) out of 5 stars Not exactly on the mark Oct. 27 2009

I enjoyed many parts of this book but the title does not really describe the actual content of the book. If you subscribe to the pholosophy of the group that the author is affiliated with you might find it more interesting than I did.
