HASH(0x99fbdf48) out of 5 stars The Beast Masters Love March 23 2010
By P. Brown - Published on
Format: Paperback
Though this series is very short, I loved the story. It starts off where the last book left. Leo and Yuiko are starting to form a love interest in each other, but in an instant while shopping for Leo's 18th birthday he is hit by a car. At the hospital, Yuiko learns from Leo's guardian, (the over emotional man that he is) that Leo is about to inherit quite a lot of money, (shocked Yuiko look) and that his family is after him to take it from him. If he is killed before his 18th birthday they get it all.

Well Yuiko being the (always) damsel in distress get's kidnapped by his family. Leo comes to the rescue and saves her. Of course she stops him before he kills one of his family members, and Yuiko almost goes off on the woman. (Yeah Yuiko) Not long after it is learned that Leo's dad isn't dead after all and is able to save his life, (thanks to tape recorder.) It is decided that Leo must leave and Yuiko tries to be indifferent to it. Too bad for her, she isn't. As the story progresses, we learn that this love interest is more then that, but the truest love of all, where life and death will not keep it seperated.

It is a very sweet love story, I'm kind of sad to see that it was so short. (I was expecting a bit more.) But all together it was a well written book and you can't help Leo, he's so naive, sweet, and kind he doesn't realize that he is actually very scary looking, and even scarier fighter. Why can't guys be more like Leo, humble, kind, and sensitive? (Well those are the reasons. hahaha)I would recommend this to anyone that likes a sweet love story that isn't full of sex and language.

HASH(0x99fbdf9c) out of 5 stars Don't Judge This Book by its Cover Aug. 4 2011

"Beast Master" is a romance manga with lots of innocent fun to lighten the plot. This volume is actually the last in the series (and the latter half of the book is a strange bonus story about a cactus). This volume includes a huge twist and brings the story to a satisfying close, so readers will not be disappointed.

I love this manga so much; I'm so sad that there's only two volumes of it! :(

The characters are interesting, the story is captivating, and the drawing style is well-done. This volume even includes another short story by this author that is just as interesting an entertaining. This is definitely a keeper!

This is the second and final volume of the Beast Master series by Kyousuke Motomi. This volume includes chapter five, the final chapter and a bonus chapter. The second half of the book (from pages 111-190) is an additional bonus story titled "Cactus Summer Surprise" which was her first fantasy story.

It was a nice love story however the ending could've been better. It ended with ok yea to umm what happens now. I think everyone knows those types of manga where ok everything is resolved however they aren't married yet so something can happen here. Just my 2 cents. I liked the 1st vol. the best.
