This is a great product & helped me clear up a lot of cabling clutter. The power outlets are in different positions which allow you to put different devices with various adapters together, otherwise the last bar i was using had 12 slots but they were right besides each other and if you install an adapter, it would cover 1 other outlet besides it making that outlet useless.
The picture does not show it but there is actually a cable management at the end of the outlet which you can use to run your cables nicely through.
Con: it was UNBELIEVABLY hard to plug in anything. I tried to plug in something and the force required made me afraid I would break something. I might have even seen a spark but it has yet to cause me concern. It only got a bit easier to plug and unplug things when I turned off the power strip and just took a random plug and plugged-unplugged every outlet to 'wear' it in a bit, as it were. But it shouldn't take that. Also, one of the plastic cover plates fell off. I managed to pop it back in, but I don't know if it's safe to use that outlet so I decided to just not use that outlet. I don't know if that's rational but as it stands, I have a basic lamp plugged in another outlet and it hasn't done anything yet, thank goodness.
Conclusion: Belkin is a notable and reliable company on the whole. I was disappointed with this power strip though. Barring problems, I'll probably still use this until I can acquire a different one. I can't confidently recommend this power strip to anyone though. Plugging in anything was exceptionally difficult and the covers are finicky and breakable. Overall, I will still buy Belkin in the future - just not this again.
Tip: the outlet covers were really finicky and not like the rest of the power strip in terms of construction and plastic used. So finicky that one broke. However, Belkin does have other power strips or bars that lack the cover. So if you have your heart or budget set on a Belkin power strip or bar, I suggest one without covers, assuming the others don't suffer from the same plug in difficulties.
Pro: Your Home Theater is nicely protected and more.
I even have enough room to put my Aquarium on the same protector.
Con: The Cord is 8 feet long, Well it was a pain to keep tide up and mounted on the wall.
They Should of made a 6 foot one.. The dust cap are way to stiff. Plus power light way to bright.
Other: They would of gotten a solid 5 star if they would of had a 6 foot one or even a 4 foot.
You should put the Light on the side of the bar.
The only thing that I would suggest is that they use a better quality material to make the outlet. The plastic felt very cheap in the hands. Overall it will get the job done and look stylish while doing it.

The power switch isn't very high quality so I wouldn't recommend this for somebody who has to turn the power on and off frequently because it's a likely point of failure. If you plug stuff in and leave it on then it should be fine. It's not a concern for my own use case as I leave everything on.
There's an included cable tidying gizmo but it's so small that is practically useless.

I have been using the slightly cheaper model of this version from Belkin that doesn't have quite as much in the joules rating, and it has worked flawlessly since Dec 2017.
I am mentioning this because I was put back by the photos of the holes burnt in them. I plug a lot of things into mine and there is never a problem, but of course that is a standard 46" TV, or my 56", stereo equipment etc. etc. etc. and it works without a whisper. I have a few space heaters in the house for emergencies and usually just plug them directly into the wall on a dedicated circuit. Space heaters are cheap and the threat of a lightning spike is remote but due to the price it is not a big risk. I'm not an electrician, but that is my two cents.
I just bought two of these for only a couple of dollars more than my other one just like it. It has a few hundred more joules in the rating like 4 thousand some instead of 3900. Works great. If something goes wrong I will be back to update my review.
