My favorite part of this carabiner? The knife, hands down. The 3" long blade is a lock back style (to avoid the unwanted closure during use) and the teeth on the blade were razor sharp. The blade itself was reasonably sharp, but not quite as sharp as I would have liked. So, I decided to sharpen it myself, and that is when I came to LOVE this knife blade! The smooth cutting edge of the blade is straight instead of curved like a normal pocket knife, so sharpening it was excessively easy and extremely quick. And, if you ever have to use the any of the tools in such a way where you have to get a good grip to do so, the grip is actually pretty comfortable and surprisingly sturdy thanks to the locking cylinder on the spring loaded hinge.
I collect knife and delight in what I call oddities. I not only got an odd sort of knife here but I also received a very useful instrument/product that will do far more than just set in my collection looking pretty. This thing is quite functional on several levels.
First, this carabiner is extremely well built and built from high quality material. It is large enough to fit well in the hand and comfortable. It has multiple functions which include a knife with a three inch blade; the bottom have being very sharp with nice depth to the teeth. The cutting portion of the blade is sharp. I will admit that the blade is not as sharp as I would have liked but that was an easy fix after about five minutes on my stone.
This little gadget includes a Phillips head and flat head screwdriver. I was glad to see that you did not have to break a finger nail or use another knife to get the screwdrivers out...they were easy to deploy. I have not tried using the bottle opener and to be frank I probably never will. I don't think I have had to use an opener such as this since the 1950s. But hey, it looks good.
The locking mechanism on the blade works quite well and the blade is easy to open but not so easy that it will accidently pop open. I was impressed with the easy the cylinder spins open and the action of the latch. I personally will keep this portion of this tool lightly oiled.
This is a hand key ring type tool to have around. I did some fiddling with it and attached a weighted monkey paw defense weapon to it. This carabiner acts as a perfect handle for the monkey paw and enhances it greatly. Do be aware though that a defensive weapon such as this packs a tremendous punch and a lot of thought should be used before it is use. It is a lot of comfort though as I do my daily walk along some rather isolated roads.
Yes, you can buy these things for less cost but to be quite frank I doubt seriously if you are going to receive anything near the quality you get with this one...you pay for what you get and you most certainly will get your dollars worth with this one.
The carabiner is large but I could not trust it to hold my weight, which is just fine for my uses. The clasp locks shut with a thumb screw and it very secure once tightened. There are two small screwdriver bits, slotted and Philips head, that rotate out of the main body and they are actually of a size that makes them useful. The bottom is notched as a bottle opener but I have not had the need to test that functionality. I like the large knife blade folds out and locks into place. It come quite sharp and the body of the carabiner makes for a comfortable grip.

It's a great quality tactical knife not like the cheaper options. Blades will hold and very sharp. I ended up giving it to a friend because if I was only going to use it as a tactical knife I might as well get a normal one.
