To be honest, I'm wondering if modifying the recipes is better for the rest of Canada, but in moist Vancouver, perhaps we don't need to modify, even though we share the Robin Hood Flour base? At any rate, I do better with standard recipes, although the cinnamon raisin bread is admittedly a hit here. :)
So easy too and nothing to roll out so no flour to clean on the counter. Just right out of the machine and into the pan.
I got SOOO many compliments. ALL the women there asked for the recipe. One even said she'd buy a bread maker to make it.:-)
Very impressed, can't wait to try many more recipes in this book
Cinnamon Raisin bread is great and not so sweet, a little dense, but that could be me not sifting my flour before measuring it (I was in a little rush).
Double Cheese Onion bread is a winner with my boyfriend, I was afraid to put all the onions at first, but it balances well with the cheese and it's not overwhelming. The 2nd time I tried it I added some real bacon bits in and it was AWESOME.
I find the basic bread recipe that came with in the machine booklet better than the one in this book, but I haven't bought this to make just white bread haha!
There is plenty of nice recipes in there, it's a really good purchase.
