I having willingly been replaced by a machine as the machine and the recipes turn out great bread every time. Her book is generously laced with helpful tips and information on bread making and the various grains and ingredients used. Many of her recipes call for preparing the dough in the machine and finishing the item in the oven so there is lots of room for creative baking.
The book is nicely formatted for following the recipes but you do have to watch that you don't switch from one recipe to the other as 1.5 and 2.0 pound recipes are listed on the same page.
Book also provides an insight on the chemistry of how ingredients react with others and tips on how to obtain good results.
