About the Author
Janet Dailey, who passed away in 2013, was born Janet Haradon in 1944 in Storm Lake, Iowa. She attended secretarial school in Omaha, Nebraska, before meeting her husband, Bill. The two worked together in construction and land development until they “retired” to travel throughout the United States, inspiring Janet to write the Americana series of romances, setting a novel in every state of the Union. In 1974, Janet Dailey was the first American author to write for Harlequin. Her first novel was No Quarter Asked. She has gone on to write approximately ninety novels, twenty-one of which have appeared on the New York Times bestseller list. She won many awards and accolades for her work, appearing widely on radio and television. Today, there are over three hundred million Janet Dailey books in print in nineteen different languages, making her one of the most popular novelists in the world. what I want in a romance
February 16, 2014 - Published on Amazon.com
I'm a big Janet Dailey fan and Big Sky Country is one of her best. The H is her typical strong, short tempered, possessive cowboy, but the h in this one is a little spunkier than usual. The emotional development between the two is quick but believable and there's enough angst to wonder what's going to happen in the end.
Always a winner

Janet Dailey was the queen of American romance. This novel was no different. Great storyline and quality characters. A must read for traditional romance junkies.

The story line is quite good, but there are numerous typographical errors as well as spelling errors, sometimes making it difficult to figure out the meaning of the sentence. I think this may be happening in the transcription process, but a little proof reading would solve this problem.
Great Montana romance

I love Janet Dailey and have read many of her books. I chose Montana because I knew it would be a western. I am a sap for romance and westerns. Janet does not disappoint!

Janet Dailey did a great job writing a fun book about Oklahoma. It was delivered by funtime to the kindle. If you enjoyed her other books about the different states than this one is a must read for you.
