Erin Warner is a copy-writer and editor who is meeting a potential client when she bumps into the mysterious Hunter Ellis. Hunter offers Erin a job on the spot as his Personal Assistant as he is a photographer.

As Erin gets closer to Hunter she learns he is holding secrets close to him and she is captivated by him, yet knows everything is not as it seems.

Then it leaves you with a total OMG moment!

This is definitely a book for mature audiences and be forewarned it is part of a series as the end it a total shock and I can't believe I have to wait for the next book!

I liked this book from the beginning. It is intriguing and the plot reveals itself slowly, so there is a surprise from the characters often enough to keep you trying to find more. I am not fan of cliffhangers but I want to know what happen next so I will keep reading...

HASH(0x9bbd593c) out of 5 stars Blindsight Oct. 27 2015

Thank you to Adriane Leigh for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Blindsight is a tough book to review, because to be honest, I’m still not sure what the hell happened. What makes it difficult right off the bat is that I never really connected with either character, but I’m not sure I was meant to. (At least not yet.) Secrets abound in this book that even the reader isn’t privy to. That makes it nearly impossible to get to know who you’re reading about, and the whole experience makes the reader feel disconnected.

The story is interesting. As far as we know, Hunter takes erotic photos for a living, and Erin is down on her luck in desperate need of a job if she wants to remain in her current living situation. Hunter offers her a job as his PA, solving that problem. But working with him brings a whole slew of new ones, including an attraction she isn’t ready for. Erin is unable to resist Hunter’s advances, and they embark on a relationship of sorts where neither really knows the other one. There were some intimate scenes here, but because of the detachment I felt toward the characters, it lacked the steam I was hoping for. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that of the two, Hunter seems to have a closet that has more skeletons than a graveyard. The book ends on a cliffhanger, but not the one you think it’s going to be.

So here’s the thing – this book is part of a serial, and I reserve the right to change my rating once I’ve read all three parts. I’m hopeful that this is all going to come together in a way that wows me. Wild by this same author is one of my go-to reads when I want a dirty talking hero, and his book started off like this one. Not plot-wise, but Wild was full of secrets, particularly on the heroine’s side, and it took a while before the characters warmed up enough to each other to be themselves, and that one ended up being a huge win for me. I’m really not sure where this series is going, so I’m going to cross my fingers and trust the author on this one.

HASH(0x9bbd5990) out of 5 stars The story is sexy, thrilling and suspense all in one non-stop read. Oct. 26 2015

From the prologue, I expected to go into something so different then what I was reading, that I could not stop. The prologue was a tease and had to find out how this tied into what I was reading. It starts about a woman that was needing to find a better paying job, other than the internet job she was doing. She's on her way to an appointment, she arrives late, missing it. She runs into a man, and through talking he finds out she's looking for a job, he hands her his card, telling her to call him for a job. She calls, meets with him, taking the job. Turns out he's a photographer of expicit pictures. During the interview she suspects that he is olding back something. They travel to exotic places for him to photograph models, on short notice, to her (giving her 30 minutes to get ready.)
She feels an attraction to him but it develops more to sexual. He holds back from sex even though, at times, they sleep in the same bed.
During the time I started reading it drew me in and made me wonder how the prologue fit with the story. I had to read through the night to get answers to a lot of my questions.l My most wanted answer came the last few chapters of the boo which ends in a cliffhanger. Now I have to read the next book to have even more questions answered, but that's OK as I need to know.. The is a trilogy. The next book is to be released November 2015.
The draw, of the story is what kept me in suspense and reading to find the answers to my questions. I usually don't read suspense, unless the story can grab my curosity within the first chapter or two, which between the prologue and the first two chapters I had so many questions that I had to find out what was going to happen with the characters. I still have so many more questions and hope for the next book in a few weeks.
If you are intrigued, as I was, I encouraged you to read the book.

Nothing worse than reading a plot that makes no sense. Terrible grammar. No flow from one paragraph to the next. I bet this would be improved tremendously if it was edited by a good editor, & made into one book, not 3, as I just found out.. Grrrr!!

HASH(0x9bcbe1a4) out of 5 stars Fast. Sinful. Addictive. Mysterious. LOVED IT! Oct. 26 2015

Every inch of this book is pure HOT and steamy passion that makes crave so much more..

It's a romance story that takes a sexy and erotic meaning to a whole new level. ART. It possessed a quality that I haven't seen in many sexy new adult books. A quality that makes you question what you should expect from a story or a love in general.

I absolutely adored this one.

When I saw how short it was, I wasn't too sure what to expect. Seeing that bloody hot cover is one thing, not to mention the blushing that soon followed just thinking about dirty mouthed and sexy tattooed alphas. But, when I flipped through that first page, I was done.

It's as fast paced as it is a fast read.

Erin is a character that I tried not to want to like. Her decisions when it came to accepting a "strangers" propositions, and a huge proposition at that, is the polar opposite of what I might have done or said. I mean, to me it would make sense to politely say no.

Now, here are the issues with saying no. First, Hunter is bloody sinful and as sexy as they get. If he didn't exude all those dirty and blushing thoughts we get when thinking of that perfect guy then I truly don't know what does.. Throughout the entire story we get so much calm and easygoing sexiness from Hunter that y brain doesn't even register how far I have gone in trusting my first thought of "stranger danger". I mean, come on. That was a sneaky move from the author. Falling for a character that I usually warm off from my friends and myself.. Yup. That's what BLINDSIGHT did.. No regrets.

Second, Erin's mindset grew on me and it grew fast just like the story came to an end. She took fat risks but from her reasoning and how their relationship flowed, developed and united, I could not have been happier.

This couldn't have been any faster or an addictive of a read. I was so disappointed that I would have to say goodbye to bloody Hunter!!!

Of course there ARE some twisted parts to the story and a mystery that had my heart at the pit of my stomach..

Again, bloody loved this book! Cannot wait for more..

THANK YOU Adriane Leigh for the ARC, I look forward to all of your future work xx

HASH(0x9bcbe288) out of 5 stars 4.5 Stars! Oct. 26 2015

4.5 "Blinded by Love" Stars

Going into Blindsight, I knew that it was a serial so it'd a quick read but would hold a big punch. I also knew that it was written by Adriane Leigh so it would be super hot and ultra steamy. It was definitely those things but holy wow. Twists and turns and head fakes and secrets left my head spinning leaving me pining for part 2.

The story unfolded in a kind of round about way. It starts with a crazy intense prologue that segues into the meeting Erin Warner as she's running late to a meeting and literally runs into a mysterious yet gorgeous man that offers her a job. Eventually the story follows Erin as she begins working for Hunter Ellis. He's an artist that turns his intimate photographs into works of art. Erin becomes his assistant and follows him all over the world as he works. As they spend time together the chemistry between them goes from hot to supernova. Eventually Erin begins to fall for Hunter until at the very end, he revelations not only stunned me but stupefied Erin. All the while, interspersed into the story is the point of view of someone we don't know who obviously has some sort of connection it seems to Erin but whom she is completely unaware.

This story was filled with suspense, intrigue and sexual tension that I could feel all the way through my Kindle. The spark between Erin and Hunter was positively engaging even before they actually touched. Both are mysterious characters who I still don't have a full grasp on but that has only made me even more desperate for more. Buy the end I was dumbfounded by some of their secrets and need book 2 STAT!
