About the Author
Tracy E. Banghart is a cheesy movie-loving, fantasy football-playing (go Ravens!), globe-trotting Army wife who began "practicing" her craft at the age of five, when she wrote her first story. She loves visiting the international friends she met while pursuing her MA in Publishing and spends a portion of every summer at her family's cabin in Canada, where she finds inspiration and lots of time to relax on the dock. She lives with her husband, son, two lazy dogs and one ornery cat. When not writing or spending time with her family, she is on a mission to bake the perfect cupcake.

Simon was such a charming and conniving character. I could totally see why Emma fell for him. But what I couldn’t understand is how she couldn’t see through his bullsh*t when she found the research papers.
I was a little troubled Emma would still go to that trip with Simon and taking her little brother with them after everything she found out about him. I just knew something was going to happen. I was shocked she didn’t fight for her brother since she knew self-defense and all until the very end when all the drama already unfolded.
I liked how it all ended and I liked that there was consequence for Simon’s actions. This was a good read.
I love how the characters of the story is not that what I normally expected. I love how I was surprised by Emma's sometimes bitchy and whiny but as the story goes by, I started to like her a little a more and more. And Josh, I really loved him. haha!! The other characters are also great. I love that they are not that what I normally expected and I love the uniqueness of each characters, especially Bryna and Simon.. Wow, this two really made me go crazy! The story ended, I love how it ended, just the way I liked it. I'm not disappointed with how the it goes.
All in all the story is good and the drama/issues are well made. A good read with a relate-able topic (with the family and all). Ms. Tracy did a really great job in this book.
A fun, fresh contemp with an amazing main character, cute love interests and wonderful setting. Summer abroad, what could be better! Such a fun book and some really cool imagry and mystery to keep you turning the pages. I didn't know exactly where this book was going, but I couldn't stop reading until I found out. Great read!
