Here is a breakdown of the moves: squat combos (with & without bar); bis & back (more up tempo); rows & shoulder presses with bar; squats on step; push-ups & chest combos (on step), used bar and mini bars (dumbbells); shoulder combo; step-ups; kick backs; obliques & outer thighs (standing); push-up combo & table top on floor; bis & abs. Favorite move: laying down, lift one leg, hold bar on one hand, then twist upper and other leg to meet lifted leg.
Core strength workout is for 30 minutes. We used 2 body bars: I have a 6 and an 8 lb. Lashaun will lead you through the floor and standing exercises focusing on balance using your core. Favorite move: table top position, place bar on lower back, then lift opposite leg and arm. You'll use the 2 bars for a series of standing balance exercises: leg lifts and rear leg lifts.
Overall, I enjoy Body Bar dvds, especially the ones with Lashaun Dale. She is such a sweet, happy young lady with excellent cuing and instructional skills. She encourages modifying and shares information on how to make the moves easy for yourself.
