The truth has eluded her for years…Now, is she ready to face it?
When Eve Duncan gave birth to her daughter, she experienced a love she never knew existed. Nothing would stand in the way of giving Bonnie a wonderful life―until the unthinkable happened and the seven-year-old vanished into thin air. Eve found herself in the throes of a nightmare from which there was no escape. But a new Eve emerged: a woman who would use her remarkable talent as a forensic sculptor to help others find closure in the face of tragedy. Now, with the help of her beloved Joe Quinn and CIA Agent Catherine Ling, Eve has come closer than ever to the truth. But the deeper she digs, the more she realizes that Bonnie's father is a key player in solving this monstrous puzzle. And that Bonnie's disappearance was not as random as everyone had always believed…

But these days I have a hard time reading them because she is becoming such a lazy writer. In Bonnie I counted the word
dammit and other versions of "damn" more than 50 times, sometimes twice on the same page!
Doesn't this writer have an editor?
Or is she so successful that quality no longer matters.
She used the word 'dammit' an awful lot in earlier works as well.Almost all her characters use it!
It's profound laziness in my opinion.
It drives me nuts.
The final book in the trilogy. And what an ending. Sometimes I thought the tension was a bit overdone, but that is just a minor criticism.
This book a real page turner. The only reason I thought some of the scenes were overdone is because I wanted to get to the end more quickly.
I don't want to give anything away, but the person from the previous novel who everyone thought was dead is very much alive and kidnaps Eve.
Before that we have Eve and Joe, and Catherine and John all hunting for this person. They run all over the south from New Orleans to Atlanta and elsewhere.
Bonnie is also present here more than in the other books as we get closer to both catching her killer and finding where she is buried.
I will not give anything away except to say the resolution is worth the journey.
It's a great book and I would definitely recommend it to ANYONE who has wondered, as I have, what happened to Bonnie. :)
Now...new plots I hope.

Too much hype for this book. Not as good as I anticipated. There were a many things that didn't make sense. It was very choppy.Published on Oct. 19 2013 by Salina
