I am confident it will help optimize your fertility.

I agree with her advice and like how each has set up a 3 month program (we call it preconception care) where you look at natural approaches to boost your fertility for natural conception or with IVF. Both books share our philosophy of the three free therapies: Diet, Lifestyle (Adequate rest, moderate exercise and sufficient deep sleep) and deep relaxation. The book addresses PCOS, recurrent pregnancy loss, advanced maternal age/low ovarian reserve male factor, IVF and unexplained infertility. If you have read and enjoyed The Infertility Cure: The Ancient Chinese Wellness Program for Getting Pregnant and Having Healthy Babies or Making Babies: A Proven 3-Month Program for Maximum Fertility then you will be impressed with this book and what additional advice it has to offer. I have been treating using this 3 month program for years at Acubalance which is why I can say with confidence that these books will not only boost your fertility but they will offer you a way to get your life back!

HASH(0xa3ac41c8) out of 5 stars Worked for us! Sept. 9 2011
By MW - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book was wonderful. I've been diagnosed with PCOS for almost 8 years but was not affected by any symptoms until we were not able to conceive. After reading this book, I kept to the strict diet and within a few weeks, my hormones were all within the normal range for the first time in my life! I felt better than I ever have and had more energy than I have in years. It is more costly than eating normally and takes so much more time to prepare meals but it's worth every effort! I conceived on my fourth cycle after starting the diet and have continued through the pregnancy. This was a much better route for me than getting on medications. I am so thankful for the all of the helpful chapters in this book!

HASH(0xa3099e10) out of 5 stars Informative April 30 2011

This book provided much insight into a variety of factors that impact fertility. I did not "Conceive quickly" as the title suggests, but I found the information helpful!
HASH(0xa3752834) out of 5 stars I ordered used for a penny and deserve my penny back. Worthless! March 11 2015
By Candace - Published on Amazon.com

Absolutely worthless. Very little actual information. I was hoping for tips on herbs and supplements, some medical descriptions on what they do and why they may be worthwhile. Instead it's a collection of Wikipedia paragraphs to explain to a newbie about what terms mean. What kind of tests is your doctor ordering and what's it mean. What your diagnosis is and what a very basic description of what that is. The only tips are beyond obvious. Stop smoking, don't use drugs, drink water. Not a single actual tip. Filled with "our story" where couples say I was given a blend of herbs and now I'm pregnant. Thanks. Probably 100 of those without 1 actually talking about what was taken and why. It's an infomercial book to buy FertilityPlus patented mixture. I haven't read one single piece of useful information, since like 99% of the population I already knew cigarettes were bad and water good.

HASH(0xa3745ac8) out of 5 stars Contradictory info in just the preview June 23 2012
By Horror movie holic - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I have not purchased this book and don't intend to as I've already found contradictory information in the previewed pages. Early on it says to try different herbal teas to increase hydration/water intake "such as peppermint, chamomile or fennel". The next sentence says to avoid tea as it can be dehydrating - so it needs more specific info here. Caffeinated teas? Decaffeinated non-herbal teas? Avoiding caffeine almost goes without saying, but this is a non-specific statement.

Then, several pages later on aromatherapy, the book says to avoid certain oils such as fennel. Surely there is some fennel oil in fennel tea so is it good or bad? I'm glad I read the preview before buying and saw that clearly the author can't decide what is helpful vs harmful or is having a hard time communicating more clearly. Having already been round the bend with a few infertility books, it seems like some give back and forth information so they can always say they are right no matter what the outcome and increase their success rate. I won't be purchasing as my confidence in the information is already shot.
