I started reading the kindle version at the Amazon website and, even though I don't own a Kindle, I ordered the kindle version (since the book isn't available at Amazon) -- had to keep reading his story. Bill Whatcott writes succinctly, with honesty and humor. He shared really scary and violent moments in his life (e.g., when he was about to get assaulted, when he was assaulted, and when he was assaulting others (some in self-defense and some not). Yet many times he made me laugh out loud.
Armed with his street smarts, his faith in God, he goes where most of us fear to tread. Many of the people who hate what he says and writes about abortion, homosexuality, the Human Rights Commission, universities, police departments, politicians, etc., seem to grudgingly respect his courage. And love him or hate him, people read his flyers--with pictures of aborted babies and naked people in gay pride parades.
I am in my fifties and when I was growing up anybody was free to say the things Mr. Whatcott says, and today people get harassed by campus security guards, policeman, prosecutors, judges, landlords, nursing associations; they get fined and incarcerated, lose their property, their jobs, and sometimes their professions, and their families. Bill is one of the few people out there willing to risk it all for his faith in the Lord.
I would recommend this book to anyone unapologetically standing up for Truth, and for anyone who likes a good story, well told.
