It’s never too late to be BORN WHOLE
You can be BORN WHOLE
Do you feel grief or heaviness when you consider the time before you were born? Do you sense that your mother's thoughts and emotions affected you then and throughout your life?
If your answer is “Yes!”, read this lifechanging book.
It’s never too early to be BORN WHOLE
Your children can be BORN WHOLE
Would you like to be able to accompany and guide your children lovingly through their time in the womb?
If your answer is "Yes!", read this lifechanging book.
Born Whole is the inspiring first-person account of how a trained meditator revisited his time in the womb in a deep altered state of consciousness, and how he healed his own pre-birth trauma.
This is a story of personal triumph and growth. Even more, it is a description of what is possible for everyone.
The author of Born Whole re-lived three major developmental events from before his birth: conception, implantation, and labor. Later he revisited the environment of the womb and experienced again the wonder and stresses of his mother’s ongoing emotions, worldview, and physical circumstances. Born Whole also includes the beautiful story of how he spiritually guided a baby through the process of its birth.
In Born Whole you will learn how the experiences and environment of the womb prepare you for life after birth. You will discover
- How to re-experience for yourself the pain and the beauty of your pre-birth experience
- That life before birth is not all easy, just as life after birth is not all easy—and the stresses of the womb are absolutely necessary for survival
- How to heal and transform womb trauma from events such as conception and birth
- How to heal negative effects of the womb environment arising from emotional stress, beliefs, food, drugs, or physical circumstances experienced by your mother.
Born Whole is for parents, grandparents, nurses, midwives and others who work with babies yet to be born. You will discover
- That children can be born emotionally healthy, already knowing they are welcome and will be loved by the same people who have been with them all along
- How it is possible to accompany and guide a yet-to-be-born (or yet-to-be-conceived!) baby through the wonderful and challenging time of conception and gestation to be born whole with your presence, love, and reassurance on that beautiful journey.

About the author

Wes Gietz (1946-notdeadyet)
It’s been a wonderful journey! I’ve learned to do so many things: make fire by rubbing sticks together, travel in realms of spirit, be a father, perform differential calculus, shoot rapids in a canoe, teach meditation, use a chainsaw, heal others and stay healthy, lie on my back and watch the clouds go by. I live on the west coast of Canada with a wonderful woman in a house overlooking the ocean. And now I’ve written a book that will save the world! Does it get any better??
My life has spanned a variety of disciplines and worldviews. These days I identify myself primarily as a writer. I’m also a teacher of spirituality and awakening, a guide and coach, a public speaker, and a practitioner of energy healing techniques. You can find out about my free offerings and learn more about these programs at https://mailchi.mp/6193fae822f0/windwalker-signup.
I take life seriously and I have a lot of fun. I travel, ride a bicycle, swim, walk, and play table tennis. I love good coffee and good wine.
I’ve been acknowledged as a storyteller, an elder, a shaman, a leader of ceremony, and someone who demonstrates the qualities of patience, wisdom, compassion, and understanding. I’ve Vision Quested four times. In 1999 I initiated the Firemaker Primitive Skills Gathering, an annual week-long learning and celebration of ancient skills and community.
Prior to writing Born Whole, I published numerous articles in various journals and newsletters on topics such as edible and medicinal plants, spirituality, healing, tracking, and Coyote Mentoring. I’m a contributing author of Peak States of Consciousness, Volume 2: Acquiring Extraordinary Spiritual and Shamanic States (Grant McFetridge with Wes Gietz, 2008).
I have Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry/Mathematics and English Literature, and Master’s degrees in Biochemistry and Public Administration. I worked for 20 years in human resource management and planning. I’ve taught business communication, statistics, and human resource management at university and college. My most important teachers of the meaning and potential of life have been Tom Brown Jr., Jon Young, David R. Hawkins, Michael Newton, and Ken Wilber. I’ve been challenged and enriched by many friends and partners, relatives and foes, and have learned to love them all.

The idea that we can and should connect to infants as whole people is laudable and opens up avenues to truly respectful interactions with beings who are very vulnerable and powerless. If prenates can perceive their mothers' emotions chemically and energetically, then this would contribute to their set-points of sensitivity, happiness, etc. in later life. At this point, I find it comforting to consider that the soul of the unborn child may actively choose their parents, and also that prenatal trauma somehow prepares the child for later difficulties in life. Without those thoughts, the burden on pregnant mothers to do things perfectly would become even heavier than it already is.
It is when we create the next generation that we become aware of how ill society has become. Only nine months of reading to prepare for a new and huge project, and it is near impossible to keep up with and protect the ever-changing child after it is born. So many of our own hurts to heal, and so little time. So many decisions to make, all of them potentially crucial.
This book emphasizes hope, and provides some simple techniques that work for healing ourselves and our children at the same time, starting from where we are right now. The role for fathers is clear: to heal themselves will directly impact the mother, and through her, the unborn child. They are not excluded from baby-care: they can communicate directly with their child, as well. While higher levels of skill in healing, intuiting and communicating can be built over time, these are not a requirement at the outset. What is required is clear intentions and persistence, together with self-acceptance and forgiveness. And that is nothing new for a parent. So take heart.
To top it all, this information is given to you in a very reasonable number of easily readable pages. What are you waiting for? Read on already!
Around Chapter 5 I found myself checking how many pages I had read & how many were left in the book. I was enjoying it so much,I didn’t want it to end. I slowed down my reading to make it last longer!

The book is easy to follow and great to keep as a reference for further healing.

This book had a very interesting approach to how we can protect our children before they are born into the world. From conception to birth, Wes Gietz provides advice and a plan to show women how to take care of the child as it grows in the womb.

A definite great read!
—Scott Allan

In Born Whole, Wes describes his experiences as a participant in a multi-year research project which used hypnosis to allow a re-experiencing of various stages of fetal development and even pre-conception. Particularly interesting were his descriptions of the trauma of being separated initially from the absolute Love and bliss to come into being as a human and also the pain of separation from the mother during the birthing process itself.
More and more it is acknowledged how important pre-birth conditions are, and Wes’ clear descriptions of the pre-birth experiences at various stages of fetal development and even pre-conception make it clear that even under the best of environments, there are natural traumas that occur and that help form how we experience the world. There are many approaches in energy healing work, including EFT (Wes' modality), which can heal these traumas. I especially loved Wes’ description later on in the book, of healing some of these traumas with a preborn child. Imagine if it became standard among doctors and midwifes who work with pregnant mothers and deliveries to include healing these traumas prior to and after a baby’s birth as part of their intention and approaches!

I thought, "sounds interesting" after all I had never heard of this thought. The Author brings up all kinds of intriguing thoughts which challenged my thinking since I come from a different background. However, it is well written and well thought out and I found myself pausing to think and take in all the different perspectives!
Pick it up. Learn something new. Challenge your self and enjoy the read.
