The B-Ready stroller from Britax is a versatile, modular stroller that can easily convert to an in-line double stroller. With 14 different configurations the B-Ready stroller is adaptable to fit your needs. The integrated Click and Go receivers enable you to position the top seat forward or rear-facing, attach a bassinet, or attach an infant car seat to create a travel system without having to purchase additional adapters. Foam-filled rubber tires help absorb bumps, provide a responsive smooth ride and eliminate the hassles of air. The reversible top seat has a weight capacity of 55 pounds and features a non-rethread, adjustable, 5-point harness system. An extra large canopy, 4-position recline, adjustable leg rest, and full suspension will ensure the travelling comfort of little ones. As an in-line tandem stroller, the second seat is certainly not an afterthought. With 4 recline positions; the second seat is appropriate from birth to 35 pounds. Perhaps most impressive is the fact that the second seat does not need to be removed to fold the stroller. A single step on the brake pedal locks and unlocks both rear wheels and has a red/green indicator. Caregivers will further appreciate the height adjustable handle, included drink holder and over-sized storage basket that is accessible from all four sides.

Going for walks in the suburbs with a newborn during the long snowy winter, I loved that our stroller had 4 wheels, mudguards, a huge enclosed but accessible storage basket, and was very sturdy. It stood up well to slush, snow and bumpy refrozen sidewalks. I like that with the B-Ready, the regular seat is removed, so you're not carting it around while you're using the stroller as a travel system with the car seat. The Britax car seats click in securely and there's no need for straps or other adapters. This is a wide stroller though, so there was an adjustment period at the beginning with bumping into columns or corners while out at the mall or library, but having the 4 wheels makes for easy steering and good stability. We also love the adjustable handle bar that makes the stroller comfortable for any adult to push.
Regular stroller use:
From around 6 months, we started using the regular stroller seat rather than the car seat so that our baby could sit up and look around, rather than be angled up at the sky. The canopy on this stroller is amazingly deep and gives great coverage. When forward-facing, the peekaboo window is useful. My favourite feature by far though is having a seat that allows the baby to face you; it's great for reading sleepiness cues. There is a good recline on the seat, so I tilt her back, bring down the canopy, cover the stroller for a minute or two and she is fast asleep for the next hour or however long I keep the stroller moving. This is a lifesaver when you're out around naptime or after an active playgroup session. The 4 wheels and suspension have continued to be great through giant spring puddles, over bumpy grass and gravel forest trails. The front 2 wheels are starting to squeak a bit, which is a little annoying, but they function great otherwise.
We sometimes feel self-conscious over how large this stroller is. It feels giant to us and we call it our SUV stroller, even though it actually looks pretty normal when I see others with it. This is designed to be a double stroller and we bought it thinking we'd future-proof, but now that I know more about strollers and what features we like, I would try to get a lighter single stroller with a smaller footprint. This has more features than I need for single stroller use (e.g. with one child, we never need to unzip access panels to reach the basket) The regular seat adds a lot of weight, so it is very heavy for taking in and out of the trunk of the car, or up and down the stairs in front of our home; the workout is the price you pay for the sturdiness.
Overall, I loved this with our newborn in the winter and love it still with an older baby through spring and summer, except for the weight. Starting to look for a lightweight stroller for summer and travel. I'll update this review if we have a chance to use it with a second child or if anything changes significantly with toddlerhood.
Folding and unfolding are dead easy. Be prepared to bend to unlock the mechanism, but who said having a baby -- much less transporting one -- would be easy?
The push and turning are smooth as my baby's bum. No creaking, squeaking, or other noises. I can, literally, push it with my pinky.
The snapping / locking mechanism for the car seat is smooth and easy as well, no trouble with locking or unlocking.
I did have some difficulty installing the mud guards on, and actually, I broke a tiny piece of one of them -- because you really have to push them in hard -- and now I can't fit it on anymore. So one wheel has no mudguard.
Overall, I'm now 2 months into heavy usage, and both the wife and I are extremely happy with it.
Otherwise good quality build stroller. I would not recommend it for anyone with first child, or small family.
