Overall, this is a great game. If you were a fan of COD 4, you will probably love this. If you like WWII shooters, you will probably love this. It's a fast paced game so if your into tactical shooters, this isn't for you. It is pretty much an exact replica of COD 4 with a WWII backround and a cherry on top with some extra features. The single player is extremely short if you play it on anything but Veteran. I beat it on hard in about 5 hours. Veteran will take a lot longer but will become extremely frustrating. This is the hardest COD if you're playing on Veteran. I did encounter some small glitches during the single player. I've gotten stuck on walls and even on the top of my teammates head. Luckily I had just reached a checkpoint so loading the last checkpoint wasn't a problem. The multiplayer is where you get what you pay for. A variety of big, small, and medium sized maps will keep you busy for months and months. The prestige option also has a reward, now. If you do prestige you will gain more custom classes. This motivates you enough to make you keep playing. I would recommend this game to any COD fan and any fast paced shooter fan.

Call Of Duty: World At War Final Fronts is one of the best shooters I've had the pleasure of playing on my PS2. After playing through the 360 version, I was nervous about picking this one up because lately, the amount of effort going into PS2 games has been pathetic. Movie-tie-ins, stale sports games with nothing new to offer and offering no reason to keep playing the PS2. Final Fronts offers a completely different campaign than the next-generation versions. Final Fronts will take you to the Pacific (briefly), Russia, Germany and other European areas, offering a wide variety of weapons to toy around with. All of the weapons shoot great, like any other Rebellion shooter. Graphically, it's what you'd expect on the PS2. Muddy and static compared to the next generation, but Final Fronts does a good job of pushing the hardware, and for the most part the game runs smoothly even in the biggest firefights. The cutscenes are eerie and the in-game cinematics are, too, Final Fronts accurately presents the horrors of war. In the end, if you loved World At War on your next-gen console and still have your PS2 hanging about, pick this one up, it's a nice expansion of sorts to add to your WAW experience, that's even how Activision is marketing it. Be warned -- this 'expansion' marketing is Activisions excuse to exclude split screen and online multiplayer, but it's still a campaign you won't soon forget.

This game was really good. If you liked the other Call of Duty games then you'll like this one as well. The graphics are incredible and the gameplay is also good. The story isn't great because it skips months at a time to get to the major battles, but I don't think the lack of story is a big deal. It's realistic and kind of gory, but it's a war game, so of course its gory. The online is also pretty good, still no multiplayer, but oh well.

Another cool feature is that if you beat the game on single player then you get zombi mode, which is actually pretty fun but gets kind of boring after a while since it's so repetitive.

All in all this was an awesome game and for anyone who liked the other Call of Duty's, this one wont let you down.

While admittedly a lateral improvement on COD4, this game brings the gruesomeness of the PAcific Theatre to life. Excellent voice acting courtesy of Mr. "24". Fun 2 player offline, but still too short (one of the worst offenders yet).

Its a fun game and the Nazi zombies mode is very fun. theyre allways adding new map packs so you'll never get bored of the maps u have and they've added 3 new nazi zombie maps. theres one more map pack coming out in september and that should also bring the final installment of nazi zombies, which is supposedly fought in area 51. I strongly reccomend you get this game on playstation 3.
P.S on the wii version you DONT get nazi zombies or TANKS in multiplayer

This WW2 game is just blazing intense and is for anyone seeking a challenge in the FPS genre. The online is deep and will have you stuck to the screen for hours.

This game gives you quite a few things to do all of which are great fun. You have a challenging single player game you can attempt cooperatively with a friend. You have a great multi-player with great maps, and a Zombie mode which gives the game a whole other level.

This is on par with Modern Warfare by doing things a little differently and coming out with a great individual package.

CoD World at War is still, pound for pound, my favourite WWII shooter so far. MoH Airborne may be more immersive and realistic, but CoD WaW is arguably the most enjoyable to play. Probably the most gritty and violent of the entire series, and indeed, of all WWII shooters thus far, WaW doesn't skimp on the carnage. Whether in the Pacific Front or the final days of the fall of Berlin, the gameplay is loaded with constant chaos and action. Though all in all the missions are rather short in hindsight (presumably this is because most people I talk to nowadays only buy games for the multiplayer), the game is a joy to play again and again. Weapon variety is fantastic, sound and atmosphere are top-notch, and the history of the battles is fascinating. The weapons themselves are fairly accurate to their real-world counterparts (especially the PPSH-41, which I fired in Las Vegas at Battlefield Vegas), though the magazine sizes are sometimes totally off. For most people, this won't matter at all, but for WWII nerds like myself, I can't help but notice these tiny inaccuracies (the FG42 had a 20 round magazine, not 32; likewise, an MG42 would have had a 50-round drum, not 125). For myself, WWII shooters should always be as historically accurate as possible; however, as I said, this is a nerd's quibble and not the average gamer's.
All in all, WaW is an extremely enjoyable gaming experience, arguably (aside from the much-maligned Enemy Front) the last great console-based WWII fps game before the flood of cookie-cutter "modern warfare" games that have come to dominate the MoH and CoD series. An absolute must-purchase for fans of WWII games.
