Not since "Mystery Science Theater 3000" have the silly delights of '50s and '60s B movies been celebrated with as much affection and wry wit as they are in this assortment of 18 genre spoofs that range from horror to sci-fi to teen biker to western. Two of these tales were nominated for a 1997 Bram Stoker Award--Robert Devereaux's "The Slobbering Tongue That Ate the Frightfully Huge Woman" and the late Karl Edward Wagner's "Plan 10 from Inner Space."
