Product Description

WARNING: This book is intended for mature audiences (18+).
It is a work of fiction and contains material readers may find offensive. There is very disturbing content, graphic sex, violence, religious beliefs and strong language, but does end with a HEA.

Temptation. Seduction. Forbidden pleasure.

As the right-hand man to The Don, Riccardo Rossi's role is all about duty, respect and honour. Being the crime boss's daughter, Lorena Morassi is forbidden. Although she is young and off limits, that doesn't stop Riccardo from wanting her. She is a pure temptation, and to have her would be a betrayal to his boss and his mafia family.

Lorena has wanted Riccardo for years and she knows he wants her, too. Being with him would only cause bad blood between her father and his right-hand man. She doesn't want their strong friendship to be ruined, but her feelings for him grow, and Lorena knows she can't stay away. But a night of seduction and forbidden pleasure changes everything.

Betrayal will not be tolerated and long-standing friendships will be broken.

I was really excited for this book, I love a good mafia story and The Don delivered, so I thought this one would too. I’m sad to say it wasn’t as good as anticipated for 2 reasons alone. But first let me say this:

Elle and Aimie deliver an action packed novel about forbidden love with Lorena, the Mafia Princess and Riccardo, The Capo. At first Lorena was ok with just flirting and teasing but after having to choose between her mother, a very selfish and vain woman, or her step-mother, a caring and kind woman, she is forced to kill her mother. And with this comes immense guilt and open her mind and heart to what she really wants.... Riccardo.....

Whether he knows it or not, this dark dangerous man is about to succumb to his match in Lorena. He’s the first to help her in her hour of need, the first to notice her light has dimmed. And he’ll be the first and last protector for the rest of their lives.

But with this type of love theirs danger, betrayal, and feelings hurt. Choices are made. Riccardo is the worst of the worst bad guys and he feels no shame in it but will Loreno be his fall from grace?? Or can he still do the only job he’s ever been good at??

The story and characters, main and secondary, were very well developed. I loved that Loreno was finally going for all the things she wanted, design school, Riccardo.... She was finally being the woman I wanted to read about. She’s not just a mafia princess, she was a young woman struggling to come to terms with a dangerous man, but she had no illusions.

Riccardo... I’m still on the fence about.... He was in love with Lorena, slow in admitting it but it was there, but he fought it so hard and with every rejection he would hurt her just a little bit more.

The Capo by Aimie Jennison and Elle Raven is book 2 in their Stud Mafia series. To fully enjoy all the twists and turns this tale contains I'd recommend reading The Don first. This is a full on action packed, dramatic and off the charts hotness infused book from beginning to end!!

Riccardo Rossi is a dangerous man, as The Don Sebastiano Morassi's Capo he is the last person you see before your fate is sealed. He's a killer, a sadist and has always been at one with the darkness inside him and uses it to protect his famiglia and to fulfil his duties as The Capo: "I don't feel guilt, I don't feel remorse. This is my job, my life." He'd never ever betray his famiglia's trust, but one person is proving too much of a temptation: Lorena Morassi. She's The Don's daughter, out of bounds, forbidden and way too young for him... But, could she be the one to bring about his damnation if he gives in to temptation or could she be his chance at salvation?

Lorena Morassi, a studying interior designer and Mafia Princess, has always wanted Riccardo Rossi. As a teenager she lusted after him but when he helped her in her hour of need in the aftermath of her mother's betrayal she's been drawn to the man beneath the foreboding exterior. After one taste of what could be she's determined to have more but can she submit to Riccardo's demands and will there ever be a chance at happiness if being together is betraying the one person they both love, knowing the repercussions will be deadly. As Don Sebastiano never forgives betrayal, as that's a sin worthy of death.

With internal power struggles within the famiglia, betrayals and dangerous threats getting closer and closer can Riccardo afford to loose focus on a distraction such as Lorena?

Elle and Aimie create a mafia world worthy of a movie, the characters, locations and plot keep you enthralled from the first page and you don't take a breath till the end!! The sex scenes are some of the hottest and kinkiest I've ever read, plus I won't look at a doughnut the same ever again!! This is a book you just have to read: it's pure mafioso magic!!

HASH(0xa65c033c) out of 5 stars Mafia perfection May 10 2015

The Capo: Riccardo is the second book in the Stud Mafia series. I would say that you could easily read this as a S/A, however, with all series I would personally recommend reading The Don:Sebastiano first as each book does give us at a look at all the characters in the story and I just think you'd have a better reading experience reading in order.

I'm not going to re-hash the Synopsis as this does more than a good enough job of letting you know what the story is about. What I will say is that I more than enjoyed this book and would happily recommend this series to anyone.

This is a story of forbidden love that I think is told perfectly. The chemistry between Riccardo and Lorena is off the charts and I loved watching how Lorena just chipped away at Riccardo until boom he could take it no more.

As I've come to expect from this series, the sex scenes are smoking hot in this book but The Capo is far more than an erotic novel. This is a mafia novel and as such there is a lot of action regarding this and family betrayal and plotting. I don't want to give anything away but The Capo is full of action and a fast moving plot to keep you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages.

I will just put in a little caveat to say that there may be some scenes that due to the violent nature may be upsetting for some but for me these type of scenes are necessary and in keeping with the story and not at all gratuitous.

I would also like to say that I have seen another review that references cheating from the main H. I'm not entirely sure where this came from at all - there is zero cheating in this book whatsoever. Neither the H or h have relations outside of each other once they enter into a relationship. I felt compelled to mention this knowing that cheating is a hard limit for some and I would not want anyone to miss out on this read because of this.

We were giving a lot more glimpses of the other cast from this series in this book that just has me excited for more to come and I for one can not wait to continue with this series.

HASH(0xa6517fe4) out of 5 stars It is not easy being the Mafia Princess May 10 2015

4.5 of 5 STARS

Life as a mafia princess has made Lorena's life anything but normal. Between the constant involvement with the familiga to everyone being scared even thinking about getting close to her. It is not a big surprise when her long time crush for the Capo turns to more. But he is forbidden and she needs to stay away. I like that Lorena tries to be smooth in insistent flirting and doesn't completely throw herself at him in front everyone and respects the "rules" as much as possible.

Over the years watching Lorena grow from a young girl to this beautiful woman has only made it harder to resist the forbidden fruit. The Don and his best friend will kill him if he crises that line. Even after asking for some time apart the Don does not seem to realize the severity. Riccardo sees himself as a very bad man who doesn't deserve love based on the things he has done and seen. But for some reason when he is with Lorena he feels like she is the sunshine in his dark. He know the problems he is causing but he just can't hold back any further.

The suspense of how long they can keep their secret and what the fallout will be, keeps you flipping the pages. What will happen next. This was a good story and I can't wait for Dante's story.

HASH(0xa6fe3048) out of 5 stars Another great book in the Stud Mafia Series by Aimie Jennison and Elle Raven... May 10 2015
By Kaylene Osborn - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
After reading the first book in this series The Don - Sebastiano I wasn't sure that this book could be as hard hitting and strong as the first in the series - I was wrong.

Riccardo is The Capo, a hard as nails mafia man who is all about the famiglia and his service to The Don. A forbidden pair, Riccardo falls for The Don's daughter Lorena. Their attraction has spanned years, but neither has acted on it knowing the repercussions of their attraction. Lorena flirts constantly with Riccardo, but will he succumb to the temptation and what will be the result of those actions? The Don's daughter is completely is off limits and any relationship would go against the family rules - rules that are staunchly dealt out by The Don himself. Riccardo, being The Don's right-hand man and best friend, is a trusted member of the famiglia and this trust must not be broken. But internally they struggle with their attraction and perhaps Lorena can bring Riccardo out from the dark, sadistic world he lives in. He is a killer, an intimidator, feared and dangerous, but most of all he takes great pleasure in doing his job for the famiglia, he feels no guilt nor remorse for anything he has done.

The chemistry between Riccardo and Lorena is off the charts hot. Riccardo is dominant and what he can do with a red ribbon, donuts, and icing sugar, well you just have to read to find out. Lorena's determination to have Riccardo at any cost, well you have to admire that. Lorena is a spoiled little rich girl or Mafia Princess as they call her and ultimately you see her grow throughout this book as much more than that. She has a strength and determination to her that builds as the story builds.

There are secrets, lies, lust, murder, intrigue and betrayal in this book and the story had me hooked and reading into the early hours of the morning. This mafia world that Elle and Aimie have created has me sucked into it and I cannot wait to read more in this series of books. Well done, I give this book a well-deserved five-star rating.

HASH(0xa65c2138) out of 5 stars Just as HOT as book 1 May 10 2015

I was given an ARC from Aimie & Elle, in exchange for an honest review.

I'm going to start this review the same way I did for The Don.... If you don't like darkness, violence, hard subjects, please don't read this book. If your like me & can handle pretty much anything, jump right in......

I started this book today, at around 4pm & finished it around an hour ago... I did have a few interruptions between that. But I couldn't put it down, I wasn't sure if I would be able to finish it tonight, having a sick hubby doesn't help, but his fever went down & I was able to leave him alone.

'The Capo: Riccardo' is book 2 in the "Stud Mafia series & although you don't need to read the series in order, I do advise you too... events happen in book 1 that makes more sense in this book. So if you haven't read 'The Don: Sebastiano' grab that bod boy & read him first.

I FLOVED what Aimie & Elle have done with this book, Riccardo & Lorena had soo much sexual tension in book 1, it was bound to explode... the way it did was just WOW.... Let's not forget that no man was going to be good enough for the Don's baby girl, so really who would be good enough. I really think Sebastiano was blind not to see the feelings throughout the years. I don't want to give anything away, all I will say is the action, sex, gruesomeness.. was all there, neatly wrapped up in Lorena & Raccardo's story.

I find myself already craving the next book in the series, I can't wait to see what else Aimie & Elle can come up with next.
