The buttons are a bit tough to press down on which is to be expected because they are solid rubber buttons. This watch can get wet and even go through mud with hard treatment. It is almost unbreakable, unless someone went crazy on it.
The features all work well and are accurate. I like the moon cycle. The compass, alarms, timer, and stop watch features all work very well. I use these often. At night the watch illuminates very well. I set it for 3 seconds illumination. For the way I see the functions and display everything is very nicely done.
I have a lot of watches. My preference for watches in the under $1K price range is Casio. Most of their watches are absolutely terrific from my perspective. This one G9300 is one of their better ones for the way I like a watch to function and display.
I would strongly recommend this watch for anyone who wants a very tough watch, and who especially needs the features. A few years ago this watch was more expensive than what I see it now. There are some newer models of this series with some added features such as altitude, temperature, barometric pressure, radio time set (atomic clock setting from NIST services), and etc. They are also a lot more costly. As for accuracy nothing will beat a quartz watch.
Won't buy this watch again, I thought this watch was outdoorsy enough for use in the Military but I was wrong, it will probably fail me in the field at critical moments.
