Each behavior is explained in a short, concise manner, as are the treatment plans.
I enjoyed the section where Pam tells the true effect catnip has on your cat. She goes on to tell you how to use catnip, when to use it, why to use it, etc. It really makes you understand the positive aspects!
Also, there is a section called Playtime with Pizzazz. This is wonderful! She goes through it step-by-step. Example:
• Don't forget the sound effects
• The successful pounce and capture
• Wind the action down gradually
• Don't send mixed messages to your cat
• Play tips for timid cats
• Playtime reminders
Playtime with my cats is so much fun now!
There is a hierarchy with cats and reading their body language will take you from what you think they are communicating, often incomplete or error in our perception, to what they actually are trying to tell you. Order a copy, ready it, and pass it on to anyone who has 2 or more cats!! Knowledge will make happy cats everywhere, and happy humans too!
But, the above applies only to seasoned cat owners who already observed, invested time and understand cat behaviour. For those who are new and have no idea why would cat go outside the litter box, the book is a must.
