I've only read 3 of the stories so far, but they are very well written and give some insight into Celtic beliefs and culture. But the thing I like most is that they are split up into where the legends came from (Ireland, Brittany etc...).

This is a great book. historical and entertaining. The author is very honest, giving people a great insight as to how life was for old age Ireland and Wales. Real, age old fairy tales! I don't believe this book ever got the ratings it deserved. I plan to keep it forever and read it with my children.

Format: Paperback
This book contains stories from almost every Celtic country; Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, and Brittany. The author writes these tales like short stories, which is easier to understand than the original versions I'm sure. If you want to hear a veriety of stories from all over the Celtic world, then buy this book.

Written as only Peter Berresford Ellis can. The man is a wizard at making words come to life on any subject he chooses. A great way to pass on the legends of your Celtic heritage.
