It has great recipes with amazing color pictures. We look at this book constantly for meat temperatures and try a new recipe every week.
char-broil grill with the tru-infrared method and had some questions as to how to cook on it, inspiring this book purchase. This is the only book on this topic I have ever bought, and it seems to be a good one. The pictures of each recipe are great, and the recipes are creative but explained well enough so you can actually follow them with ease. For example, a recipe for cooking hamburgers with an onion topping made them near gourmet quality that you would be proud to serve to guests, rather than the usual plain hamburgers we usually would make. Price on amazon was very good compared to what it would cost to order it from char-broil, another plus.
You do not need to buy ALL the cookbooks. There is quite a bit of over lap recipe wise.
Also there really are not any recipes in the books that are so specific to the infrared feature. Any grill recipe works once you get the idea of the heating element.
