I got it for my youngest son, 11 years old. We started reading it together, he wants to become a scientist, now he is interested in what things are made of. I used this author Lex Sharp in the past for math and I like the style. The book is well organized, explains things in a clear and easy to understand way and has nice pictures to attract attention. My son is very smart but has ADD and gets distracted easily. I am happy that he was able to read 30 minutes at a time without too much disruption, and then he showed off with the new things he learned. That’s how I measure a good book, if my son reads it without being asked a million times and then talks about it for days, then that’s a good read.
