I have been using Noctua since 2014 and their quality has been unmatched. But these fans really failed to perform. I bought these to 'upgrade' my Lenovo Legion C730 cube. Unfortunately they did not perform better than the cheap no name fans that came with the system.

The media could not be loaded.

I bought a new PC recently and the fans were phenomenally loud under load, so I thought I'd try to replace them. I picked the Noctua NF-A8 after doing some due diligence around extremely quiet fans that still had good airflow. The fans themselves were super-easy to install although the fan power cable was a little short for my PC, so I needed to order an extension cable.

Performance is superb though, it seems like the fans actually produce more airflow than the stock fans, as the CPU temperature is consistently lower. I couldn't post the "before" video I took for comparison, but I've included the "after" video so you can hear the fans -- both of them are running at 100%. Unbelievable quiet!

Very cheap, brilliantly engineered, 5-minutes to install and whisper-quiet operation. 100% recommended!

There are several YouTube tutorials showing how to fit this fan replaceably. This is important, so that the 2-year guarantee will not be voided. I found the results better than expected. You can forget about the new fan once installed; it will not trouble you.

Noctua are the best. I have 6 (two on CPU cooler) Noctua fans in my HTPC case and it is completely silent when watching films/TV.

When I game (Ryzen 5900x and MSI 3080Ti) and yeah you of course can hear it (most graphics card) then but its really not very Loud at all.

Some amazing bearings they muat have in their fans.
