This is Clinton's weakest album ever. As a big P-Funk fan I can't find one song on this album that is dope as hell.

HASH(0xb3e98af8) out of 5 stars George and Prince?! Really? Aug. 18 2013
By Calvin B. Miles - Published on
Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase
It was getting near the point where my favorite musical mentor was going to past the torch. But, who would the torch be passed to? Well, it wouldn't be Prince. But as an alumni member and a big fan of George's. The purple one helps out with studio time and this is what we get. The timing of this disc's production was crucial in George giving one of his final shout out's to the world at large. A world that was at this point totally strung out on rap. So these little gems fell by the way side. The title track, and "Airbound" are the stand out tracks here, while "Why should I dog you Out" is a tasty throwback to the "Atomic Dog" era. But the rest is harder to swallow unless you are a true fan and have seen the shows. For those new to the funk or any of you wanting intiate a new person to the funk . You could start here and take them down the rabbit hole to the treasure chest that awaits below, it definitely would not hurt. These cuts do bring the flavour.

HASH(0xb3ef6858) out of 5 stars A Tasty Gem Jan. 4 2011

I think this album works well. It is one of my favorites by Clinton. So what is it isn't the typical long jams. Clinton has proven he can do shorter tunes too. "Airbound" is a happy, memorable song that tends to get lodged in your head. "Why Should I Dog You Out" is classic Clinton, very funky, funny and brilliant. I can hear some Prince on "Cinderella Theory" but I don't mind. He does some play with rappers, some of the earlier colaborations I can recall. I got to see him do many of the songs on stage. A dynamite show!

HASH(0xb3efd57c) out of 5 stars The Funk Dog Strikes Again! May 19 2015

Truly a funky album as this is my favorite George Clinton venture. I love "Airborne" "French Kiss", "Cinderella Story" and "Dog u out".

By far, the serious jam on this CD was "Tweakin'". That was the one jam I was into. But with this and "The Cinderalla Theory",

(which is not the same as the Pinnochio Theory) paying anything over $10 for it is a rip off. Sorry, the Doctor of Funk does not prescribe this one as a whole, just a little "Tweakin'".

Could it have been better? Sure, but hey, how can you go wrong with George!
