A sweet, rich spicy flavour that blends well with other spices. Nutmeg is the seed of the fruit which grows on the tree Myristica fragans, the same fruit from which Mace is derived. The oval shaped seeds have a sweet, spicy flavor. When ripe, the fruit splits in half exposing the netlike membrane or aril known as the mace. The mace closely enwraps a dark brown, brittle shell inside of which is the single, glossy, brown, oily seed or the Nutmeg.

Why I love Club House Cream of tartar:
Because cream of tartar has many uses.
Cream of tartar uses:
- Baking powder substitute
1/4 tsp of baking soda + 1/2 tsp cream of tartar (this is equivalent to 1 tsp baking powder).
The acid from cream of tartar will stabilize the egg whites and add volume to your meringue. Beside that, it’s also to maintain the egg whites texture when whipped into stiff peaks as well as to increases the egg white tolerance to heat. So it’s allow the egg white stay in their shape, not melt away in a hot oven.
How to used it to make a meringue
1/8 tsp cream of tartar for each 2 eggs white in your meringue recipe.
- Kitchen cleaner and scrub away stains dishes
Make a paste of cream of tartar mixed with white vinegar to make a great cleaner to clean burner pans, glass top stove, sinks, as well as to remove stains on dishes and mugs.
