Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I've always said I needed a "cheese grater" for my feet. My wife calls them hooves!

Creams take too long and I hate the greasy feel. Even the coarsest files from the drug store don't make a dent before my arm gives out. My wife even gave me a couple motorized files, but they just don't have the power. I'd resorted to using a corn planer, but that is a bit tricky not to shave too deep, then my feet hurt for a day or two because the skin is too thin.

The Rikans Colossal Foot Rasp is perfect. Quick and easy, wet or dry feet, and I can feel when I'm down to healthy skin and so I don't over do it. I even tested it on my non-hoof parts and it didn't hurt me at all. I just tried it today and I feel like I'm walking on a cloud!

The only thing I'd wish for is that the teeth went closer to the edge so it is a bit easier to get the pad of my foot right under the toes. I can still get it, it just required me to bend my toes back so I could get the rasp closer. Some may not like that there isn't a box to catch the shavings in (they just fall on the floor); but honestly, I probably would have filled a box several times over today and so would probably leave it off anyway.

Product seems sturdy, but I'm unlikely to put much pressure on it anyway, because the rasp is so effective even at a light pressure.

I was looking for something more heavy-duty to help solve the issue and this product is it. It's larger, has a good grip, and the teeth on it are sharp (so be careful!). I used it on dry feet and it worked perfectly. I could see and feel the difference instantly. Finished with foot cream and socks before bed and woke up to smooth feet.

I do not have thick callouses like I used to. I have not tried this on wet skin. I think I am a good test subject. Please go slowly...so far, this is very effective and shows no signs of dullness. Right now, your calluses are protecting your feet.

Do a bit at a time. If you see "pink"/new skin, STOP! You've gone too far. That exposed virgin skin will hurt walking on it for a for days, no mater how much you moisturlze...

I promise you will be much happier with a bit at a time. If you damage newly-exposed skin, guess What? New callouses. Your body wants to protect itself.

If you have poor circulation, diabetes, pre-diabetes, or post diabetic
neuralgia or neuropathy, check with your physician. I really like this item, just worry some will not get the max benefit if they don't use it with care.

This is a great product and works sooo well! For years the callouses on my feet have been getting thicker and thicker, starting to crack, etc... so I started using a pumous stone which did very little to help. Then I bought a product like this but it was too flimsy to handle the job at hand and just a waster of money. So I went ahead and bought this fella and wow! Just what the doctor ordered!! My wife loves it too. We use it in the tub and we were both amazed at the amount of dead skin cells it scrapes off. Our feet haven't looked better or healthier since we were kids. Don't listen to the ones telling you it dangerous. Just go slow and don't apply too much pressure and it works like a charm with no knicks whatsoever. Very sturdy. Good quality. The blades are stainless steel and do not rust when used wet. Just perfect! Couldn't recommend more!!

I have only used it dry (not wet as some other reviewers suggest). Agree with the “go easy” otherwise you risk grating off too much dry/dead skin. It’s better to give your feet a couple of gentle rubs over a couple of days for a great result, than get carried away and end up in pain because you took too much off!
