I used them to hang frames on my baby's wall. I of course made sure of the weight before and followed all the instructions. It is not my first time using it. I bought the same kit before at Home Depot. This time, 2 frames felt on the floor tearing up the paint.
able to use without any difficulty. No holes in walls or damage when removal necessary. Make sure that you read instructions ... print could be a little larger!
Important to see that tabs are "clicked" together properly and walls are grease free ... wipe with alcohol and let dry prior to mounting.
With these thinggies, I put it up, it stays up, and it's never crooked. I'm going to re-hang ALL my pictures up this way.
Plus they come down easily if I want to change the picture.
PS The big plastic hook products are awesome too - my kids hang their heavy backpacks on them, and they are not gentle about it.... lol
I used three medium pairs to hang a 12 in by 12 in canvas painting, and it fell??!! I used four pairs to hang a mirror in my son's closet (the light and cheap $10 one), and the mirror came off in the middle if the night! Luckily nobody got hurt but I'm starting to suspect that they either changed the formula, or I simply just got a horrible batch.
I used to use command strips for everything: my sons' backpacks, door wreath, pictures, etc. So I KNOW! I know how good and how trustworthy they can be! That's why I would hang breakable things like mirror with command strips, BECAUSE I HAD THE SAME MIRROR UP FOR 5 YEARS WITH THOSE STRIPS!
I'll give command another chance. But I would NOT recommend hanging heavy things or expensive things. You never know when it's gonna fall.
