HASH(0xa495875c) out of 5 stars Excellent Jan. 22 2007
By J. Gaenzle - Published on Amazon.com
Great book, for people who grow their own natural dye plants. Great recipes showing light fastness and different colors available for each plant. You may want to order two, in case you use it so much you damage the first copy.

More than worth the money!
HASH(0xa658a684) out of 5 stars Pretty book but not always correct Feb. 2 2016

The book is a nice idea and goes over a lot of different kinds of natural dyes. I am not sure if it's publishing error or hers but there is no way Turmeric is a "fast"dye not to knock Turmeric :). I think the book has academic errors and that is not the best guide for folks who are buying it for recipes and information.

HASH(0xa658aab0) out of 5 stars A Must Have for the Novice or the Expert Dec 14 2008
By Pulie J. - Published on Amazon.com
If I could have only 1 book for dyeing this would probably be it. It's format is easy to read, the spiral bound makes it convenient to leave open on your work space and the 'recipes' are simple and clear so that even the novice can jump in and enjoy the process. A great gift for yourself or the fiber lover in the family.
