For a regional cookbook, this one is worth checking out. Dotty Griffith, a noted food journalist and editor for The Dallas Morning News, is also the author of The Texas Holiday Cookbook. Growing up with close ties to Texas ranch life, Griffith has maintained a deep appreciation for simple, yet irresistible, Western cuisine. She lives in Dallas, Texas.
