2.0 out of 5 stars It's okay, the keyboard's not gonna blow your socks off. But for >$100, I think it should...
By N on May 20, 2020
I've had the keyboard for about a year and a half at this point, so I think that's enough of a break-in period to be able to review this product.

Pros:
I've got the brown switches version of this keyboard- if you know the feel of brown switches, this bad boy is right on the money, very good tactile feedback, without the racket of the blue switches.
The keycaps themselves seem good enough, I don't think they're double injected, but at this price point, you get what you pay for.
Aesthetically, c'mon this keyboard looks awesome, I love the raised-keys type of look, and black on metal is just clean as hell.
The lighting software is definitely adequate- it gives you a quite a few customization options and lets you set profiles.

Cons:
Personally, I don't enjoy the finish of the actual board of the keyboard at all. While it looks good, in terms of practicality, the brushed metal design tends to attract dust like a dang magnet, and doesn't clean easily without putting in a lot of effort.
I think the the biggest detriment of this keyboard is the hardwired usb cable. The last Cooler Master keyboard I had (CM Storm Quickfire Rapid) was a fantastic piece of hardware, built like a rock, and it had what I consider one of the most quintessential features of a premium keyboard- a removable (and more importantly, replaceable) cable. It's clear this was a choice made to reduce the life cycle of the product, and it's a very greedy move, Cooler Master.

In my case, after a year and a half of daily use, the hardwired cable has started to become very finicky- moving the keyboard in certain ways will disconnect the keyboard from my computer, which can only be rectified by unplugging and replugging the cable from my PC, an unnecessary pain in the ass, in my opinion. Additionally, I've had to replace the rubber feet as the adhesive has disintegrated with use.
Also little nitpick, there is no media keys on the Function keys, not an issue for some people, but found myself longing for my old keyboard that had them.

All in all, I wouldn't buy the keyboard again, because of 3 major reasons:
-The lack of removable USB cable
-Difficulty in servicing/repairing the keyboard
-Finish of keyboard is a dust magnet
and because of those 2 major faults with the keyboard, I give this thing a 2/5.
